I recently just upgraded my connection to the highest and fastest connection that the company has to offer for internet. I pay only $30 a month for the service. My max download speed is actually 300kb/sec and my max upload speed is only 40kb/sec. I live pretty close to my local station so I usually get max speed all the time and I rarely get/have any problems with the connection at all. |

| i'm from msia, and 1Mps is very common now, i've used up to 100Mbps. But my housing area here doesnt have broadband service. Guess what? I'm using 56k dial-up. 49Kbps. I noe it's shamed to tell this... |

Yeah, your connection is pretty slow! 4kbps, I don't think I can live with that after using 1.5Mbit connection for so long. 
Judging from the speed I think it's hard for you to download video, even mp3, from Channel-Ai, isn't it? In fact, here in Canada, there's always ISP promotion and sometimes you can get 3 months free of high-speed internet. My housemate knows all kinds of means to get free stuff, so it turns out that we can use broadband without paying anything, whenever it's possible.  |

Judging from the speed I think it's hard for you to download video, even mp3, from Channel-Ai, isn't it?
It takes me at least around four hours to download PVs and sometimes around 30-40 minutes to download mp3s. It depends on the file size, obviously.
I had high-speed internet for a while and it was heaven! I was um... borrowing my neighbor's wireless.  For some strange reason, when they moved, they took their internet with them. I haven't been able to find a connection to leech since then.
Hopefully if I ever get a chance to MOVE, I'll be able to get something better. Our house is rented and our landlord is extremely strict about everything.  Though, at the present it looks like I'm stuck here for a while. |

http://testmy.net/ won't give me good results so I'll use a dslreports.com test which is what I use all the time...

Your download speed : 9285 kbps or 1160.6 KB/sec.
Your upload speed : 914 kbps or 114.3 KB/sec. (Ususally seed at around 130KB/sec)
The advertised speeds from my ISP are 9000 / 1000 so this is pretty good. |
