"Nostalgia" did not impress me, in any way I'm afraid  Both the song and video are both SO typical of them. It's pretty much YELL/Futari/Nakumonka. The new version is a lot better than the indies version but they could've picked a MUCH better song to revive. Like "Karakuri" or "Akai Kasa" 
"Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo" was a little better...but still sounds like a song that didn't make the cut off "Hajimari no Uta"
This single, overall was not impressive.  You can do so much better, Iki.... |

Well this may or may not be old news, but Ikimonogakari is releasing their 19th single, "Kimi ga Iru" (You're There) on the 4th of August, 2010. From their official site...

The cover almost seems like an optical illusion XD
Good thing the song isn't another Kimi ga Iru Kara ... although it's close ... |

PV for "Kimi ga Iru"
Fun song, I approve! It's not as good as the fast songs on "Hajimari no Uta", but still ages better than "Nostalgia", "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo" and "Arigatou". Oh, and "Kimi ga Iru" is also their first A-side not written by leader Mizuno Yoshiki, but instead, main vocalist Yoshioka Kiyoe. |

Not a bad composition job by Kiyoe  The song is pretty cute, but reminds me a lot of "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo" and "Kimagure Romantic". The PV was really cool, Kiyoe was so adorable  And I love Yama-chan no matter what
What a breath of relief from all the 6-minute ballads  |

| They will release their first best-of album "Ikimonogakari ~Members BEST Selection~" (いきものがかり～メンバーズBESTセレクション～) and their 20th single "Spirits" (スピリッツ) both on the 3rd of November. |
