Hi, I use Convert-tune for files conversion, including protected files. The tool is easy-to-use,
It has free CD Ripper and free CD Burner, and other options.
it runs on Windows 2003, XP, 7, Vista and adds ID3 tags

I have compared different converters and I recommend MelodyCan.
It converts music and movies, and also can remove drm protection. The converter is easy to install and use.
