Recently there has been a small amount of spam threads and posts...no, I don't mean the typical "lol" and "hi" posts just to "up your post count"

There are those pointless and long advertising threads...no need to reply to them because they will never reply. Just report the post and one of us mods will delete or lock them to keep the forum as clean as possible.
