Hi guys, have a look at this article at Slashdot, it gotta be one of the reason why Avex artists' songs are available at iTunes right now.

Seems like Sony is losing is place as online media provider at Japan. Tongue

^Then hopefully SONY artists will be put on the iTunes music stores. But, yeah, iTunes prices is half of what SONY is selling their music for, so there was no question about it.

But, has anyone noticed how weirdly iTMS Japan is set-up? Some artists are in the kanji, some are romanized, some are romanized for some songs/singles, others are kanji for some songs/singles, some songs on an album are romanized, others are not, "Biidama" is "Bee dama", and capitalization is not taken into account (sorry, but that's one of my pet peeves) "eg: Step you instead of STEP you". Blah...hope they fix it soon... Confused

ITMS Japan turned me on to Ai (and a lot of other good J-Pop) too. Smile

It turns out someone has found a way to buy songs off without a credit card in Japan:

I haven't tried it yet, but for buying a song here and there, it might work well.
