I only just started listening to Koda Kumi after listening to 'you'. I must say that she has a sexy voice and image! Also, I prefer her Koda's more recent single than her ealier works. I'm loving the 12 single releases at the moment! D.D.D ROCKS! Boogie

i got you, birthday eve, DDD, 1000 no kotoba. First i saw DDD... and well i was pretty much disgusted. That was way to slutly for me. Then i watched 1000 no kotoba. which i liked. Then was you and birthday eve. Which i didn't like either. you was stupid and birthday eve was more stupid... From her PV's i don't like her at all. But her voice isn't that bad and she is attractive. But the way she protrays herself makes me dislike her......

Well I have to say that though the concept of the 12 singles is exciting imo it was rushedd up and ended up sounding not so great. I was excited at first about it but it's not so impressive as I was imagining. I am starting to believe it's rather gimmicky. Especially it being limited an all.

"you" was gorgeous and the pv was stunning. The song was nice but I have heard better ballads. But overall the package was excellent.
"birthday eve" was so and so. The pv was cute and all but eventually it wasn't really a pv you'd rewatch over and over. The song was cute and poppish but nothing spectacular.
"D.D.D" was well.. a generic Ku release. Sexy pv, catchy tune. The pv was a typical Kumi pv with her being sexy but it wasn't anything great either. The song was quite addictive though.
"Shake It Up" hasn't been released yet.
"Lies" is well... disappointing. The pv is allright - continues on from where "you" finished but the excitement from "you" starts wearing off imo. It's allright - just not impressive as "you". The song is awful. It might be kinda catchy but it's mediocre and it's obvious that it was hurried up and done just to release a song.

I do hope the upcoming releases shall be exciting but I am getting kinda disappointed lately.

I am pretty sure I read that she would release 12 singles in as many weeks... it's already at least the second week, yet still only one single appears on the daily single charts... Am I missing something? Confused

I agree with Rinoa on the 12 singles:)

BUt to be able to release 12 singles in 12 weeks is pretty impressive
So far, I think I like you the best; the PVs are above average I'd say. The concept of the PVs being a story is cool still Giggle

The 12 singles schedule sure is pretty experimental and crazy. I wouldn't be able to catch up at all if Ai's going to release 12 single like Kumi did. Lucky avex doing this for Koda only. Nod

Those single covers are actually pretty good. I haven't listened to any of those singles yet, maybe some Koda hardcore fan can start an off-topic download with her 12 singles release? Heh, I'm such a lazy leecher. Embarassed

^If she really is released 12 singles in as many weeks, how come on the daily Oricon singles charts, I can only see 'you' and not 'Birthday Eve' which is a more recent release?

And for the record D.D.D., the third single in this batch is being released today....

So why is that only 'you' is on the charts and the 'Birthday Eve' isn't?

Well, Birthday Eve was on the charts (debutted at #2)...but it got bumpped off rather quickly...I was surprised because it was such a cute song and Pv lol
I was thinking because you has two songs, you and Sweet Kiss...and Birthday Eve only has Birthday Eve and the inst. but I'm not sure. D.D.D. has one song as well, but don't know how well it'll do yet Tongue

^Do you mean, it got #2 on the daily chart for one day, and the next, it got bumped to below 20???

It was limited to 50,000 copies that's why. Probably it sold a lot on the first day and thus there were only a few left.

Is that to say, all the 12 singles being released in 12 weeks, barring 'you', are all limited to 50,000 copies?

I see... well, finally I understand what is up with this. -_-

Quite interesting and rewarding for the fans that they are limited quantities..... Even though it's gonna make big holes in their pockets Tongue
