We need to expand our tastes in J-POP here. Ai-, Ayumi-, Utada-esque music is not all that is great about J-POP. I'm sure I won't remember everything, but this is a good list.
Sakura (Ketsumeishi) - this is the undisputed best song of 2005, Autorisuku, Kizuna (ORANGE RANGE), SMILY, and there are a bunch of Ai and piano songs that I saw on TV that totally rocked, Tabitachi (Taiyou-zoku - they are a lesser known punk band that I really like, but beyond that, this song is incredible), HEAVEN, fairland (Ayumi),
That's all I can do off the top of my head |
