| I'm still having problems playing the newest planetarium live .-. I have all the codecs, but it says it has a corrupt avi header .-. |

The file should work if you follow what I said in the Media Guide. It's apparently not the video problem seeing how others can view it while you alone cannot. I suggest you uninstall all the individual codec you installed here and there as they tend to screw up your computer and corrupt each other. After uninstalling them, install the latest K-Lite Mega Codec Pack. Download VLC media player as well. Restart your computer just in case, even though it's generally not required. Try to view the video with Media Player Classic, if it doesn't work, try VLC media player. If both player display error message, send me a PM with the screenshot attached.

I got the corrupt avi header thing fixed using a program called DivFix so now it plays fine (it cuts off during her talking at the end though, but I'm betting thats how it's supposed to be) so here's the program if anyone ecounters that problem in the future ^^

The corrupted header is most likely due to incomplete download of the original video. From DivFix website:
Quote: It can rebuild or strip the index part of the movie, which is at the end of the file.
I believe your problem is that your download did not complete properly, i.e. your downloaded file is smaller than the original file, thus the index of the avi, which is near the end of the file, is corrupted. |
