anyone watched/read this before?
i just watched the movie not long ago,
i really liked it! 
=w= feel like such a sadist for liking da bloody movie~

I've watched part one and part two of this movie... and it's my favorite *___* For me part two is better than part one ^^;
I really like Takuma Aoi [Shûgo Oshinari] ^____^
He's a good actor ^^

Battle Royale ...
its BEAT TAKESHI's film! i love it! it's so grotesque and suspence... very very surprising  the best one was the beginning when there were those informations about the state that japan's in... the teenz are rebellious, the Unemployment has REACHED 15%!!!!!!!! its given so dramatically while in Poland we have unemployment about 20% and still there isn't any of those 'battle royale' kind of things we still have to go to school hehe |

| THat use to be my favorite movie. I have the book and seen the movie sssooo many times. I saw the movie first then i read the book but i think i like the movie more? which did you guys see first and which do you like more (book or movie)? I was going to get into the manga but a friend told me there was too much sex and stuff like that. Saying that it was pretty much a hentai. So i stayed away from that. And i read that the 2nd movie was kinda dumb. i'm more interested in the story of BR so i just skip the gory parts. What happens in the 2nd one, i've read the store line but i don't know what happens in the end. |

| which did you like more the book or the movie? i think for people that have seen the movie first like the movie better but people that read the book like the book better. I'm just wondering if it's true |

I wouldn't really say it's better. It's just different. I saw the movie then read the book. The only similarity is the game and character names. They both have the same ending, but the way they get there is very different. I think they're both good and exciting and enjoyed them equally.
Yeah, I thought the movie/story was sadistic at first and hated it. Now I just see it as science fiction and like it a lot. I think I've looked past the child on child violence and see the survival aspect of it. I want to see the second one...sort of  |

| I've seen both I and II. I think the first movie was better becuase they got more in depth about each character's past, especially if you watched the special edition DVD. The second movie rushed into things, people just get killed too quickly. |

| wht the manga is a hentai?...what?....to me i read lik some of the manga..and to me it isnt TAT good....compare to other mangas....mhmm....from wht i heard the book was more detailed compare to the movie~ |

They're not that different. I think just minor things. And kazuo and shogawa's motive/introduction, also the book is more detailed. I mean other then that it's pretty much the exact same....oh wait and the ending was different, with the chase and the escape where different....so i guess it is different..... >_> |

I watched Battle Royale before. I forget how Battle Royale 2 was like though. I remember not liking it much, but the first one was great!!! It's one of my favorite movies. I think there's more to it than just blood-spilling and people killing each other. The idea is really original too.  |

| I agree. But i think for people that don't prefer violence they should read the book. But if they don't mind the gore they should go for the movie. But i think what makes it so appealing is the story. |
