| i don't trust torrents... its really slow for me for some reason.. like 1 or 2kb/s if it connects at all |

try port forwarding, or limiting your upload speed to ~60% of its capacity.
did you install windows SP2? that creates problems....
anyhow, can't wait for the movie!! and the ost!!! 
does anyone know if there is a release date or ETA for the movie? they will keep original cast... right? |

| mannn, i wanna buy it.having it on a computer just isn't the same as owning it. I think. But i'm not spending over 70 for it. Cuz i'd probably only watch 10 times. but i'd probably watch the extras alot. I've recently got a chance to watch the tv drama. But i'm still on episode 3. I'm enjoying every bit of it. Does anyone know the basic plot without giving spoilers. |

| I cant wait for this. I'm looking forward to seeing rei smack ryuuji right round the chops ^^, and I'm glad that maki's going to be in it, shes sooo cute ^^. I wonder how there going to connect the characters who are still in tokyo to the characters who will be in new york to the same story line though. |

Hm.... I think it may even be late next year.... it can't be early 2006.... During first half of '06, she will probably be promoting her album [if they still do that in Japan...], rehearsing for her tour, and preparing for her next single....
The tour should end by June at the latest.... so the movie may be released at end of '06....

I went to the official website, and they have a trailer for the movie!!
BUT, the trailer is just scenes from actual series, no actual movie footage. orz
There is no date mentioned on the official website regarding the release of the movie.  |

Tokyo Friends movie will be release in theatres on August 12, 2006. The company making the movie posted a list of dates of upcoming movies in 2006 and Tokyo Friends is one of them.
Too bad, the movie will only be shown in cinemas within Japan, so most of us here probably have to wait till the leak of the movie or until they release the DVD version. I'm hoping they will release the OST around August because I really can't wait to get my hand on it. There are so many good songs is in the drama and there will probably be more in the movie too. Maybe Ai-chin will release a single for the theme song around that period, we'll see. 
So yeah, let's look forward for this awesome movie that concludes the story in the drama. I'm wondering if they go to New York to shoot part of the movie as that's how the story goes in the drama. Leanne, did you see any Japanese movie crews near your house lately? 
Lastly, avex is currently looking for extras to appear in the Tokyo Friends movie, the deadline for applying is March 24. I'm not really sure how it goes, but I'll definitely apply for it if I'm in Japan right now.  Here's the avex site for it if you want to know more.

OMG OMG OMG
This is fantastic news!!! She is going to be so busy!! She's supposed to be preparing for a tour right now, and probably after the tour ends, it's straight to shooting the film. And then of course, in between, she'll have to promote her new single(s)!!!
I can't believe it's in August, I would have thought it was near the end of the year. xP
Oh well, can't wait to see this!!! |
