I heard on radio that she's coming to Sapporo soon, but could not understand when.. and where? Can anybody tell me where I can get very fresh tour/trip info? Because there is nothing about on her oficial site..
If I also can find where she stays, I can go and say hallo from all of you guys.. |

heh, I don't think you'll ever know where will an artist stay unless you have insider info. Anyway, regarding your question I think Ai has her JAM PUNCH Tour 2005 concert at Sapporo, on May 27, click here for her schedule list. I'm sorry but you probably have missed it.
Anyway, welcome to the forum Gaijin, you're a Russian living in Japan right now? |

Thanks for reply.
You know people here used to ask me where I'm from before. Since recently nobody is asking me that question any more; people are just sure that I'm Russian, they take it for granted. But the most interesting thing is that I'm Russian indeed. Though in your case I'm pretty much sure I know why you think I'm Russian. You are a member of JT Forum.
Sorry for offtopic.
I checked her page and indeed she was here on May 27; but I'm sure that I heard of another event, there are other singers participating too, and it's planed for June. |

Hi there Gaijin, I'm not from JT Forum for that matter, I know you're a Russian from your email. Anyway, it's cool enough you're in Japan right now! Most of us here aren't that fortunate to have the chance living there.
I think you are talking about a-nation'05. Yes, the event will take place in Sapporo on June 25, 2005. You can get more information here. Hopefully you can get a ticket for it and go see Ai in real person!
If you really are going, give us a live report after you finish the concert.
P.S. I have a question, how do you find this forum? |

I think the link you provided says that the event will be held on August 6th. But anyway it's unlikely that I will go as I am not keen on such events very much.
If only they go to a night-club that day when the concert is over, then may be I will use the chance..
edit:
Sorry forgot to answer your question... I came to this site from this page http://www.daisukidayo.com/, which I found through Google while was looking for Otuskai Ai after watching a TV program on TV where she participated. It was cooking show where she tasted okonomi yaki cooked by some other famous guys. And then she kissed the winners. |

Gaijin, the show you're talking about must be SMAPxSMAP, in that show the guest will be served with dishes made by SMAP members, and I think the guest will then pick the dish she likes the best. I hope someone will upload the show to torrent tracker soon so I can post up a direct download once I get it.
daisukidayo.com belongs to ilikejpop, he's also one of the coolest members here! So ilikejpop, you've finally updated your page eh! Nice work, and thanks for the links to this forum!
I honestly hope you will take the chance to see Ai and other avex singers in real person in a-nation'05 concert, you might be really enjoying yourself there! We all wished we can attend the event but unfortunately most of us are all far away from Japan.
You sounded like you wanna go to the concert in your first post but later you say you don't, so what changes your mind? |

Well, it very well may be. Is SMAP a music band? Because I think the guys who were cooking for Ai-chan were singers, at least couple of them. |

Hello Gaijin
SMAP is a boyband. They are kinda old, aren't they? Singing since long time ago hehe
So Gaijin maybe you wanna tell us how is life for a foreigner in Japan? Aren't they afraid of you? I heard from my Russian friend that Japanese consider Russians as big and hairy bears hehehe don't know if that's true I'm so concerned of going to Japan in my future life... I'm 195 cm tall.... will I ever make it there? and where will i buy clothes hahaha? |

When guys here hear that I'm from Russia, they always say that Russia is probably cold, which is why all Russians have to wear fur-caps with ear-flaps in there opinion. Being a foreigner in Japan is probably different from being one in other countries. The country was closed for so many centuries which made the culture very self-centered. In Sapporo and other big cities people got used to us, but in the country they really look at you like at an alien.
And you, Kizz, will probably be very outstanding person here with 195 cm in height, but the girls will love it, believe me (though like in any other country guy's looks have almost nothing to deal with being popular). |
