Hey, i'm no japanese teacher but i did finish 4 years of japanese and was in 2 state wide japanese speech contest. Anyways i was wondering if you could make a section where people can post japanese lessons. People could post japanese sentence structures, verb conjugations, kanji reading, kanji radical look up, adj conjugating, and etc. Just so people can learn more about the japanese language. It'd be alot of work but i wouldn't mind teaching some of what i've learned.
I know this might seem alittle stupid, but i was wondering if you could have a J-rock section. Not like a subsection. I don't think j-rock is too popular in this forum, but it'd be nice to have. That way we could talk about certain j-rock artist without flooding the J-music section. |

I'm not sure if one new forum just for Japanese lesson is necessary as it will end up expanding the off-topic forum even bigger, which is not necessarily good at the moment. I'm thinking of having you to make such a thread under the Ai's translation forum dedicated to Japanese lessons, and I can then happily make the topic sticky for you, you think that will work?
Regarding the J-Rock section, I think having a specific thread dedicated to it will do? The problem is there's no such function as subforum in phpbb, I can install the mod for it but that will take some time, and I'm not sure how well can we make use of the subforum features.
I think it's better to focus more on Ai's forum and how to make it more interesting and cool at the moment. Most people doesn't look at off-topic section except those zealous Channel-Ai members. My expectation for the moment is to build up a better Ai forum (main section) that provides interesting information to Ai's fans from all around the world.
Thanks for the suggestion CETMA, we need more people like you to make this forum a better place. |

| thanks for the compliment. I think a sticky in the translation would be a really good idea. I'll dig up all my japanese folders and start that. You're probably right about the other stuff. This is Channel ai and other japanese stuff/culture. Thanks for the awesome site again. i'll try to continue helping the site out. Hey if you need some help running the site or anything like that. Need someone to help running the forums or maintain different stuff, i'd be glad to help. Just PM me okay? |

What about a section on art and manga drawing, since Ai is also a great artist in her own way? |

^ Aren't the "Ai's Fans" and "Anime and Gaming Chat" sections enough for that? |

yeah, that would be an awesome idea! i have that book fruits, and the stuff they wear in there is a little...extreme
and also, i need to know where i can get the clothes. because, in fruits, a lot of the stuff is either "second-hand" or they made it themselves. and im kinda....sewing retarded
i cant do it
and when shopping at second-hand stores, you just have to get lucky
and plus, if you wore the stuff they wear in fruits in high school(and im a freshie, so that makes it worse), you would either be considered unique and maybe respected, or you would be considered a freak, and be avoided...or maybe a poser if you arent asian(im not asian )
but whatever, im rambling.
my point is, its a good idea, but i need to know where to get the clothes too |

OMG. I saw that a Kinokuniya too!
But the fashion is wayy tooo ???
lol -_-
KerushiiAi: I suggest you go to those store in Little Tokyo and purchase the items, or buy the clothes online. Of course they are made already. Or if you want to be more unique...... just go to any mall, buy clothing, then create something out of it.
Sometimes you might find lace on clothing that doesnt fit you anymore, cut it off and sew it on! Works! |
