Here's one more from me:
In the www.ayu-kult.de forum (a german ayumi board) there's a nice little feature wich I like very much.
look at this:
You can see the little textbox under the main-textbox. In this textbox you can write the song you're listening to while writing a post/thread. ( "hört gerade:" is german for "is listening to:")
When you finished writing it looks like this:
Well, in fact this is only a small suggestion and if you don't want to copy the idea from the german ayu board I can understand.
But I like this feature very much and I think the other members would like it as well.
There would be no need of threads like "what are you listening to right now" anymore, too. |

I agree, that does seem like a really good idea.
It'd be fun to see what others are listening to without getting multiple/long threads about it.

As far as I know there's no such mod for phpBB, the ayu forum you mentioned uses SMF and there's a convenient mod for the "listen to" feature, check here. So yeah, I don't think adding that is possible unless I write such a mod myself, which I really don't have time to at the moment (it takes time to figure out how to implement it and to get familiar with phpbb functions), but it's not impossible. I'll see if I have time for it, but it's not very likely it will be here anytime soon. Sorry about that!
I do appreciate suggestion though, as I'm constantly thinking of how to make this forum even better. |
