Lacuna Coil are pretty good I think. They have girl & guy vocalist so it's a nice mix. They are going on tour in March in America with Rob Zombie even though they sound nothing like him really.

i still can't find any CDs of Lacuna Coil nor Leaves' eyes in my country Malaysia... RoB zombie? omg that's an industrial music, a pure type!

this is my old band, I play drums. If you don't like screaming, be patient and wait for the singer.. it comes eventually

I did have a band where i handed the rhythm guitar. I had just learnt to play a guitar that time so i was really suck...

And personally i prefer black metal music rather alternatives then my band played. And the vocalist and lead guitarist were Christians... So of coz i cant call them to play what i wanted. We stopped playing bcoz we needed to concentrate in our A levels...

that's y it's so hard for me to find someone to share the music i like to play. There're lotsa christians in my university, and i would not know whether they are or not. So it's better not to let them know that i play black metal music. It's a very sensitive kind of music which they will not accept at all...

Yea I thought the Rob & Lacuna combo was an odd one, but I love them both so I think it would be an awesome tour to see even thought it's not coming near me at all.

Head from Korn has left the band after he wanted to get himself baptised. Actually, i'm quite sad because of that. I learn guitar because of him, i use Ibanez because of him. Overall, he's my inspiration for music and guitars.

Actually i dun think Munky can play good guitar sound only by himself... So i dun really like the new album without Head. And i read from a mag, Munky said that the album's title "See You On the Other Side" actually implaying that they're seeing Head at the other side, literally.

Slipknot has improved a lot since they got a new producer. Thus Mick and Jim are allowed to solo in the album. Go get the live album 9.0, heaven. It's really nice.

About Linkin Park... i did listen to him. But since they got so mainstreamed, and i started to prefer music with Goth element... So i've stopped listened to LP already...

Honestly, I don't consider Linkin Park a heavey band at all. They are more of a pop band if anything.

well, linkin park is the mainstream creator, blended with lotsa element of hip hop, alternative and rap. that's all... To consider a real heavy metal kinda band, you would not see it from MTV or Channel V... Maybe only in MTV2, which my country (malaysia) doesnt' have.

btw, korn isnt that dark anymore. Since head left, their songs gets a lil bit new age for me...

Ah, this is the only other kind of music I will listen to besides jpop, lol. My favorite artists that are 'heavy' or whatnot are...

Every Time I Die
Poison The Well
Shadows Fall
Coheed and Cambria
Dir En Grey
Slipknot
Thrice
Stone Sour
Korn
Converge
Flyleaf
Deftones
Marilyn Manson

Heck, I could go on and on, but thats the jist of everything.

yeah man. Heard Stone Sour has a new album coming out? And the custom percussionist from Slipknot, Shawn Clown Crahan has another side project called "To my surprise". Anyone heard of that band before?

I've been loving the newest Every Time I Die album recently even more then when I got it like a year ago. I'm really loving them right now. They are heavy, but they have a swagger about them that a lot of the current heavier bands don't have.
