The theory of her feelings fading away does fit in a way, since if she was suppose to be a ghost:
1) people arent suppose to see ghosts (stereotypically) in the morning
2) she could hold onto the fireworks sticky thing
3) the guy who made it would have made the guy look to see her gone. But he just stares blankly in front of him, probably thinking of something |

| It doesn't matter what the story's about. All I care about is that whoever girl that guy's with now doesn't deserve him as much as Ai. O: |

| I saw the video and I really liked it...even though I wasn't exactly sure what was going on. I thought she was a ghost at first too. I showed it to my friend and she thought that the couple from the begining was like a memory or something, a younger version of Ai and that guy when they were still together. |

Yes I thought it was quite confusing too and she doesn't talk either....the music made me so sad for her.
I think she was comming back to tell the guy she loved him but realised he was enganged or married and hen didnt want to. But he saw her and seeing as he knew her he just invited her along. |

I don't think she came to tell him that she still loves him... I think he invited her just to meet her again. And Ai came to visit him, too. But what I think is that Ai told herself not to say a thing about her love to him. She also just wants to see him again... but for a different reason: She can't resist visiting him though she knows it'll hurt her. |

| Aww, that makes the video and the song even sadder. I thought that the movie was really tradtionally Japanese, all natural and symbolic and visual. Would've been nicer if it were longer so it explains the MV more. |

I read your posts..
and I get to a conclusion...
what I think of the pv is...
they knew each other but they fell apart...
and then...he invites her...to see her, talk, and do that little hanabi stuff...
and she went cause she loved him...and she had hope that he did too..
but when she gets there..she sees him talking on the phone with his girlfriend..and she also sees the ring..
so she realizes that the reason he called her was not to tell her he loves her...
he called her because he wants to stay friends with her...just that...
and she hold her feelings, to don't hurt anyone else...
and when they're playing with the hanabi[fireworks] like they used to...
she feels like kissing him and telling her feelings to him...
but she knows she can't...
so...she decides to erase that...
her love, him, the fireworks...
she decides to forget about him...let him live his life happily
anyway...
sorry for the huge text...
that's what I think of this short movie... |

I actually have a very rare clip of Channel-a which is a promo clip made for Kuroge Wagyuu Joushio Tanyaki 680 Yen single. In this video she answered some interview questions and also talked about the image colours of her PVs, for example, Momo no Hanabira is "peach white", Sakuranbo is "true red", Amaenbo is "orange", Happy Days is "green" and so on. Guess what? Kingyo Hanabi is "black and gold" (kin iro to kuro) That's true though, if you take a look at the cover of her drawing book it's not hard to notice that.
She also talked about the lady above water and the lady underwater represents the different feeling/stage of love. Maybe she revealed even more, but since I can't understand Japanese it's hard for me to tell. I might upload the clip for VIP later on, maybe someone can help with the translation and general idea of this video.
Kinda off-topic, Kuroge Wagyuu PV is recorded with the song played 2 times faster than the normal pace in order to achieve the slow motion type of effect in the real PV. The do show some behind the scenes for this PV so you get to see how Ai is trying to keep up with the pace of the song while filming. She's cute! |
