Either this doesn't exist, or I couldn't find it...or both? Or neither. But whatever.
I'm really way too lazy to write up about them. I swear, I'll finish off that blog article on them for you all...soon? 
From Left to Right
Top Row: Tanaka Koki, Ueda Tatsuya, Nakamaru Yuichi
Bottom Row: Kamenashi Kazuya, Akanishi Jin, Taguchi Junnosuke
Anyway, KAT-TUN is a typical Japanese pop boy band, under Johnny's Entertainment. They've been around since 2001, and originated as backup dancers handpicked by KinKi Kids (Another band under JE, and I'm quite sure most people know them). But eventually, they got so many fans of their own they became a proper band. They were officially formed in 2001, but they have not debuted until recently (March 22nd) with their first single, Real Face, along with a Best of KAT-TUN album, comprising of their previous songs sung in lives and performances. They also released a DVD !
Aw, I was going so great and sounding SO professional until the last part. But anyway. That's KAT-TUN for you !
Their band name KAT-TUN was derived from the first letters of each member's surnames, and was intended to be a pun on the word 'cartoon', as it's pronounced the same in Japanese.

 Lesca!!! I'm not hiding, I was always here as a crazy KAT-TUN fan in this forum!!
my fav: kame-kun and jin!!! love them to death! I just recently got my three items from them, the single, album and KAT-TUN film!  costed a LOT, but its worth it!! yeah, I agree that Junno can't really sing live, but he is tall!!! more points to him!
I was actually addicted to jin first, by watching "Anego" But then, I was watching "Nobuta wo Produce" because of yamapi, and got into kame-kun after that~  I think the two guys can act too, and I would love to see them act more in the future!
anyways, "Real Face" was awesome!! love the PV, even though there are 8 verisons...I think, 7 in the DVD and 1 for airing....they all looked fantastic!!
Ok, enough from me...anymore KAT-TUN fans out there??!? |

haha, yeah michiezz, I know you're one of us!!
the boxset was expensive...but it was their debut!! I saved up for that and didn't regret in getting it!! I've been in their "world" last month...and this month. |

I ordered the Jinjin limited edition Real Face, but it'll probably get lost in delivery -__-;;.
Jin = pwnage. My 2nd favourite member is definitely Koki though.
Don't you think it's funny how JE is trying to promote the TaNaka pairing now? Like, how Koki and Maru are the only ones performing lately. Perhaps trying to recreate the Akame fame?

"Real Face" was very enjoyable; I like it better than the rest of what they have produced. One of the songs sounds like "Cape of Storms" by Hyde. I forget which one, but the chorus has the exact same beat except off by one. But it still sounds great.
Nakamaru and Ueda are my favorites. I love Nakamaru's beatboxing he did with Koki's rapping; and I like Ueda because he plays guitar and before KAT-TUN he was a JRock fan...I love JRock. Anyways, I think besides Jin's voice, those two are the most talented at music because of being able to beatbox and play guitar. (Jin's voice is too impressive to say is lesser than them) |

I agree, Jin's voice is just too good to compare! *excited* I'm just so happy that "Real Face" is still number 2 at oricon right now, stay in top three as long as you want KAT-TUN!!!
From their "Best of KAT-TUN", I really like the song "Blue Tuesday" as well. They can sing slow songs too!! |

My favorite is Kame. I fell in love with him along with Yamapi because of Nobuta wo Produce. *yey*
I love watching all the different PVs, I've yet to watch all of them, but I will soon. It's one of my goals for spring break, to watch all the different Real Face PVs, maybe I'll even try to watch all in one sitting rofl.
Ah, the album is so good. o__o <3 I listened to it a lot during the STAR test for the past few days. Ah, total love. XD |

My favorites are Kame n Junno I think Kame is more beautiful but I love Junno too, I dunno why 
I enjoy to see their lessons of sing with that woman... what's her name? I forgot it 
Poor Kame he's so cute but she hates him lol
I saw the KAT-TUN's lip balm in one magazine a few months ago..I wanna buy it!!
Does anyone know where can I find it?

Don't really know much about KAT-TUN because I'm more of an ARASHI fan but still i know theses guys and I've heard some of their music and seen some of their CM s .
My favs are KAMENASHI and JIN
My favorite song is Blue Tuesday.
These guys are so talented ... after all they are members of Johnny's Entertainment. |

TaNaka = Koki & Maru "pairing". They're actually officially "shipped". But srsly. Lately, you always see them performing together and stuff.
Have you guys heard Rhodesia? Don't you think it sounds all...Linkin Park-Meets-Evanescence-Meets-KAT-TUN? 8D;;. Well, definitely LP. I mean, my friend thought it was a secret unreleased LP song when he first heard it XDDDD |

Yay, you like Nakamaru, too. I bought Nakamaru edition of "Real Face" single... I'm going to buy the Ueda edition soon, too. And is "Rhodesia" on "Real Face" album? If it is, I think I've probably heard it. Their new album was good; it was really like light JRock. For the PV for "Real Face", though, I can't stand that fuzzy brown shirt they made Ueda wear; or that big fluffy hood one that Jin wore!! But in the making dvd, it's kind of cool when it shows Ueda playing guitar even though he's just sitting on a ledge playing it...
But in that picture of KAT-TUN, Nakamaru looks kind of like Matsuda Shota. |

I got the KAT-TUN box set sometime this week and I luff it to death. Ah, so cool. The photobook has luffly pictures. <33 and everything about it is luff!
OMG. I love watching the Real Face PV. *dies* Falling head over heels for Jin. whoosh. XD Mm, Kame is cool too~
