| Every time I see this, I always read the thread as "Ai Composed 'Like an Edison'" and I think about that one in-store video of MASK, haha. Anyways, I don't think Ai would compose for Ayu because of how different their music styles are. I mean, I know Shelly Trip Realize has some songs with piano (like "Milky Way") but can you even imagine Ai in an JRock concert--and even more Oshare kei? |

スコールにぬれて reads "Sukoru ni Nurete," but you're right about the translation. ^_^
Thanks for the update. I prefer the cover on the left, so the normal CD version. The CD+DVD version of the cover reminds me too much of the PV....I didn't like it THAT much, but it was okay. Those pictures are pretty funny, I really like the third one because it seems more...fun looking than the others? It's cute.
I checked out her official website for the first time and it was pretty neat.  I wasn't really familiar with her until I checked it out so it was nice knowing more about her, I should really consider opening up more to other singers besides Ai, then I can take part in more discussions like this if such a thing were to happen again. |

I like the song, its got a "ai-chan" feel but its sang by ami~ I actually like the PV, its pretty cute and simple.
The song is pretty comfortable to listen to and I think ami did a pretty good job as well.  I like the CD cover, ami looks really sweet in it~ |

I guess someone punch me or something but the tune is *&%$ i mean alot like Ayu songs ? eto ne, basically Kazfz don't like this song [ i just dont feel that the song goes smoothly ] the background tune goes very well [ well done to Ai ], but the tune of her singing is really weird = collaboration failed ?... [ thats only to me of cos, different people have different views]
Well Kazfz dont do bias lol so i said what i feel about something, some say that the tune has taste of Ai but to me its totally not like her usual style maybe its becos shes writing for someone else... I go into search for Ami Suzuki songs and tada, Ai wrote the same style of music for her [ Ami Suzuki i mean ]....
the case of Kazfz doesnt like that song that Ai compose is 1, i don't like any songs Ami Suzuki have sing currently [ maybe only 1 or two songs.. ] to me it always seems to be climax-less therefore i dont feel the music [ im not a lyrics person so i dont listen to music with meaningful lyrics but crappy tunes .. ] enough saying before i start to say rude things out =( |

Everyone does have their own opinions so no worries there, but that first statement was a bit much.  Was it really that bad? Well I suppose if you like the songs with good tunes and melodies then I suppose I can understand your reasons for not liking this song as much, since I think it clearly has a more "feel good" kind of atmosphere rather than a "catchy tune" one. I agree that this song isn't exactly the kind of song that you can listen to over and over again, but considering the entire song aside from the sound of it, it's pretty decent.
I agree with you that it doesn't really have that Ai sense to it, I would never have guessed that she wrote it just by listening to it. I wonder what Ai's image was when she wrote this song? The feeling I got by listening to this song was one that makes you think about the happier things in life...kind of thing (I can't explain it well >_<). Kind of like the same image in Coco-natsu Vacation and Girly combined? Well either way it is a positive and up-lifting feeling to me.  Though it may not have been very appealing to ear, it was a very cute song. |

I can sort of understand what you mean. The tune is nice, but just the singing that goes with it isn't that good. I think Like A Love? (Instrumental) will be really nice to listen to.
I think Otsuka Ai probably did change her style a bit, because if you ask me, I don't ever see Otsuka Ai releasing a single like this unless she transforms her style.
It's unfair to say Ami Suzuki's singles are for lack of a better word, 'climax-less', I think it's really only the past three singles, like Fantastic, Alright! and now Like A Love? that sound a tad on the boring side as compared to her AROUND THE WORLD album...
Gah, I think I'm gonna have to upload that album. It's really good and shows an Ami Suzuki that it seems many of you aren't familiar with. |

lol..... gome ne, just me being frank, i guess thats a bad idea lol [ stop being that honest from now on lol ] ....There is a song i like Ami song but i can't remember but it doesnt go high, Kazfz is not used to this kind of songs so its climax-less to me, but to others it might be good so its just my opinion, i dont mean its in general no climax at all but its minimal [ hmmm one ans to why i think its climax-less its because i dont even get where is the chorus lol ]
The tune so far for Ami song is good  , maybe its like Rie Fu songs lol, i like the tune but the singing is weird to me, doesnt really show or proves that it goes up, i feel uneasy? [ well its not weird to alot people so Kazfz is usually odd-one-out and some might already know, i love things people might not lol... just like i love the " pon pon " song and people dont like  ] + this is a last time im gonna mention a song is bad to me lol, i fought with my friends about weird singing lately lol including my weird voice lol  |

not to offend any Ami lovers but I seriously think that Ai would've pulled this song better. I'm not so fond of Ami's voice (I guess lotsa people here agree with me hehe)
it's cute nevertheless it would just be cuter if Ai sang it hehe |

Even though Otsuka Ai's hyper songs would definitely suit Morning Musume, I bet Avex would NEVER let Otsuka Ai compose for non-Avex artists. |

Haha. I would die if Otsuka Ai began composing songs for them. Yes, they do need help making songs that aren't so horrible (haha, along with all the other h!p groups, but that's my opinion). Good thing as hilarydufffanboy stated that they aren't in avex together. |

| i remember her now! she was on kouhaku! and she has several of the male AAA people to perform with her! i remember now! the lyrics she wrote is really quite good, the song itself is pretty nice overall as well! although i prefer ai more |
