hey, a reason for me to listen to a new artist for me.
but yeah, like one of the other posters said, i think Ai could have put off better. I mean her vocals xD |

I just watched Ami's MF live of 'Like a Love' and when i saw Ai's name as the composer, it's feels good because we see Ai's talent being used more widely by Avex! Like when we see DAI's name appear in Ayu's songs, I think that it's beneficial for Ai to write for other artistes too cos it establishes her role as a musician (and not just a singer).
I like Ami's 'Alright!', and I think Ai's composition managed to be a nice follow-up to it. Not as sunny & happy as 'Alright!', but 'Like a Love' managed to bring out the summery love feel well~~! |

This information is new to me. I know by now how come there is a topic about Suzuki Ami in Ai's Download.
To tell the truth, I used to be a fan of Ami chan around her debut year. I love her first and second album. I'm glad that she came back to the music business again. But I have to say that I don't like her sound of music under Avex Trax label. It's just kind of too much dance feeling. I prefer old style.
Anyway, since "Like a Love" is arranged by Ai, I do hope that it'll be kind of lovely and not too much dance sound. I'll listen to it to find out then. |

Even though Otsuka Ai's hyper songs would definitely suit Morning Musume, I bet Avex would NEVER let Otsuka Ai compose for non-Avex artists.
