For the cover, of CUTiE, in the headlines it says "Oshare -kanji- hito" can someone read the kanji? I have seen it before but forgotten the meaning! (lol) and well, I would like to know what it means, since every time I hear Oshare in any song or see it I always think Sex Pot ReVeNGe or Antic Cafe, lol.
And, thanks for the images, Aprilis., and for the translations, Celsius005.
Okay, I read the interview and the notes. Yes, I also noticed that this was the first time she used masculine words--it was really a big change to me since she used to use all the feminine ones like "Atashi"!! Haha. |

The headline on the cover of the CUTiE magazine is really unimportant, just a headliner saying:
"A Gathering for All Fashion Experts!!"
In other words, a round-up of the top fashion experts to do....something. 
In this case, "oshare" refers to clothing/fashion/style and what-not.  |

You were right, good stuff! 
Unlike some of the other interviews, I actually come away from this one feeling as if I gained some actual information, instead of just fluffy praise/tidbits. 
I just love what she said about Yumekui! I always like knowing more background of her songs. The lyrics are always so interesting I'm curious as to what was going on in her head to create them...
Hmm... Proposal...?  I also noticed her more masculine tone throughout (afterall, the very first word is 'Boku'... ). What a beautifully romantic way to propose! <girlish daydreams ensue> 
I think her comments comparing herself with her character, Rei, and her friends in real life stem from the same personality trait: experience from entering the music business & spotlight at an early age making her savvy in business situations and most life circumstances.
Rei is completely new to the music business (it didn't become her passion/path until after arriving in Tokyo) and, while optimistic like Ai, is very open-hearted and generally naive. [I think Ai's trailing off on the subject of 'pure' was more about her lack of naivete... {unless she has a wild side we've had no hint of up until now...} ]
As for her friends, the English term 'ditzy' comes to mind, or just the general desregard of consequences/no forethought, which is common for anyone who doesn't have the responsibilities of a major music artist in the limelight. Because of Ai's 'job' (as she put it), to a degree she's become older than her years (though fortunately hasn't lost the ability to have fun and be carefree when she wants to be, as we can still see! ).

I think Ai suits that image and the name of the magazine is so ironic! She really does look cute and I love her clothes!
But what's confusing me is that is her hair long or still short now? |

| Interesting...glad that you posted it though ^^; I don't like CUTiE magazine. The only other time I bought it it was becase UKI of SHAKA LABBITS had a spread in an issue. And besides her I didn't like it. Definately 100% Zipper fan still ^0^ |

Such wonderful and lovely scans!
I see that there are several things to be translated from these scans, so I will get to them when possible. Starting this month, I'm going to be really busy with school so I may not get to translating for a while. Help would be very much appreciated, and I understand that horizon180 is limited to the time he can spend here while he is away, so if there's anyone else willing to translate then by all means go ahead. 
Anyway Ai looks quite lovely in those pictures!

Ai-chin looks so pretty on the with scan  Her face looks a little weird on the Zipper scan  Also, I have a similar t-shirt *feels special* I don't know why but on the second B-Pass scan she reminds of a baby |

| Wah! Ai looks so cute as always. In the CUTIE scans, those are extensions, right? As Ai's already cut her hair..I love her black and white outfit. The hat really goes with it and just looks really clean but still stylish. =) |
