mmm... it's been such a long time since i've been here. >.<

But I did listen to Ai's Yumekui single and i really like it [ both yumekui and tears ] but it's hard to decide which is better ^^. Personally I like Yumekui because it gives a more rock'n'roll feeling to it but at the same time relaxing.

Yaaay Ai Boogie

Wow zyzzyva, that's major pwnage right there! PWNED! Not just the baku, but the LOVE COOK Tour poster as well omg! How can you get your hand on those?! I know it's probably Yahoo! Japan Auction, if only I live in Japan I'll check that site more often, since most sellers don't ship overseas and it's a little too expensive for me to go through middleman to get them. No

You're too lucky! I'm so jealous! Shifty

btw, I'm missing some daily single ranking info for Yumekui, does any of you actually keep track of them daily? Mind to post the one I'm missing here? The daily ranking info is available on the first page in case you're wondering, but not complete.

No, I didn't get them from a Yahoo Japan auction.
A good thing, too, seeing as some of the baku stuffies were listed there at around $600--that's *dollars*, not yen!! Surprised

I used the Special Order service from Japamart, who bought the items straight from the MuMo Avex site.

Yes... Embarassed it was quite spendy (but cheaper than other deputy services I've seen), but it's basically my early Christmas present. My family isn't really intense about the holidays, gift-wise. We gift when it works out best, not dictated by season. That way we aren't disappointed when something sells out before another 'occasion' rolls around. That's particularly pertinent to this case, seeing as I just recently checked the MuMo site and the Baku stuffed animal is completely sold out[!], along with the majority of the Tokyo Friends merchandise. Shocked

I guess after spending so much time buried in the PV doing the ridiculous theory post, the baku bore itself into a special place in my heart... Love
Plus, the mythology of the animal and the message of the song struck a particular chord with me on a personal level. So amongst the Ai items available, these were of significant meaning for me. Nod ~ Yumekui ~ Love

I'm considering putting the LOVE-chan/Baku charm on a pink chunky bracelet... Something I'd get a tad more joy out of using, than a keychain--plus I don't want keys to muck up the charm... No Will post pics if I do...

I thought the poster would make for a nice backdrop for the photos.
I got it a while ago from a very reasonable Yahoo Japan auction, using Shopping Mall Japan.
It was the 'mystery poster' from the set of two offered for the LOVE COOK Tour, pictured as a black rectangle with appropriate question mark:

I never posted about it, 'cause I was trying to figure out a way to add it to the gallery somehow--perhaps with nice, high-quality photos. Unfortunately, I can't scan it without damaging it... Here's a basic photo of the whole poster, not taken by me, but from the auction I won--just so you can see:

I just loved the idea of using polaroids as a kind of clean collage. Plus, it doesn't seem as much like a 'fan item' as the other poster, which was just her. This is more like an 'art poster'--does that make any sense...? Confused Shifty

It's really nice, though, to have a forum where people can understand my joy over a stuffed animal. When I opened the box at home my family was like, 'Okay, zyzzyva... Whatever makes you happy... Now put your shoes on, we're going to lunch. And clean up those styrofoam peanuts.'
..... Blank stare .....

It'd be awful cute, but he'd probably just take the opportunity to 'frup' on the poor baku... No Giggle

Wow. You've got a lot of cute Ai merchandise here Love I might consider getting something from Yahoo Auctions since I've just got my pay for my summer job and all. By the way did you frame your poster? It looks like you did - quite a neat idea.

Wonderfull poster! I love the idea of polaroid.

I have a question : Now, the "first press" is sold out in CD Japan, so, Is the CD come in a "cristal case" or is it come with a digipack?

What was exactely the "first press" for the CD version?

The digipak and the crystal case are the same thing, and it's only available for first press Yumekui. Yeah, those first press items sell out quickly so most people pre-order their copies to get their hands on one... or two. Tongue Giggle

For me, the cristal case is the classical case in plastic (like smily) and the digipack is in paper (like the edition first press of neko ni fuusen). So, if I buy Yumekui today, what will be my case? digipack or plastic?

It will be plastic. As in the normal regular plastic cases, sometimes called jewel cases. The digipak is all sold out. If you want a digipak, you'll have to buy it 2nd hand from a place like Yahho JP Auctions.

Not sure if there's a better thread for this but I just made a new one. i promised Kerushii I would get this up whenever I got to school. And I've been at school now for an hour and it's been scanned and ready to rock. This is an old double-sided Avex Promo I bought from a local music store in San Francisco over the holidays for 5 USD. (It might be a high price but the money didn't matter to me, I felt it was fair enough) (ImageShack seems to have resized it some... No )

As a bonus I am including a picture of the backside, an ad for BoA's Key of Heart. This side had some tape on it which I didn't peel quite perfectly and you can see this a little...but I don't care I am not going to be looking at this side anyway.

I think I will get around to posting it in the gallery sometime today too.
