Ohhh, I noticed something about the layout, eyn!
You know how you post a reply and then it redirects you back to the thread....
Well, I noticed that the header//banner flips over. It also does that if you refresh the page...

This one's just amazing! You've outdone yourself this time, eyn. I really liked your last one too but the big thing missing it was Ai herself. When I logged on today and saw this gorgeous gorgeous layout I did the whole gasp and fist pump routine. Simply the best; I'm sold. |

I'm going to vote for photograph, just because this theme really gives a photograph feel and I'm not in love with this new theme (yet).
The colour theme is nice, very smoothing which matches the song's mood well. The Love-chan photograph besides the new posts are very cute, it adds a little something to the overall casual and smoothing feeling of the forum. I notice you got 2 different banners up too, and that's great! And here comes my only complain. In both banners, you included the released date, title, and "13th single". Which is great, because we can use it as a reminder about the release date and such. But my experience with banners like this (with date "stamp" on it), is that it tends to lose its effect after awhile. I mean, it's like a constant reminder of something that had happened, and sometimes (to me personally) it make the event seems insignificant at all. Does this make any sense at all?
I understand that there's not a lot of promotion picture to use, and that's probably why you added the single's cover and info onto banner. Do you plan on revising the banner once we get more promotional pictures? |

I had the same concern about having the release date on the heading, but I just assumed eyn would change it once the single comes out. Going along with what you said there's no sense in having the release date if it came out already. After all, there isn't really too much to work with right now so I'm very sure he will revise it as soon as he can and use plenty of nice pictures from upcoming interviews and such. [yes, that'd be nice  ]
We're way ahead of ourselves as it is!  Right, eyn? 
I really do wonder what the future promotional pics will be like.. |

| after browsing through the forum for a while, im already so in love with this new forum style. i dare say this is my favourite! the colour matches with top banner very well, but the buttons look a tad too simple. maybe some improvements could be made there. overall, i think it gives a very elegent feel, yet it's very stylish too. i would give give the highest marks for this forum style compared to others. i simply love it! |

I love the new forum style. I think it's probably my favorite so far. It's easy to navigate and pleasing to the eyes. Brilliant job! I think the Ai-TV thing is a great idea, it just sucks for me because I'm on dial-up. One day...

I'm really surprised that so many of you actually consider this as the best forum theme so far, honestly I was kinda unsatisfied when I'm making this, but now that I look at it, it wasn't as bad as I initially thought afterall.
For those thing you pointed out Aprilis, I agree with you and I'll remove the "advertisement" thing once the single is released. I indeed find there are too little promo images so far when working on the banner, maybe I can pull out some new banner when there're more promo images (excite interview?) made available, just as Celsius suggested.
sian mentioned the buttons looked too simple, what I want to say is they are the original ones that come with NB2 and I should probably make my own sometime later. Probably a purple hue will make it blend better, but changing the button means I'll have to change those "my profile", "message me" buttons as well, which means a lot of work. 
And as some of you noticed, there are two different banners at the moment. The search within topic field can also be found near the bottom of each topic page, right above the page number navigation.
Lastly, here's a little crazyegg experiment with the new layout, you can see where people are clicking during the testing period, the heatmap below is generated with 351 clicks, I will probably post another one later when more clicks are collected:
