I'm a big ayu fan!!! Her songs are realli good and super catchy. Especially the song About U whereby the words to the songs are meaningful. Another song to take note of is No More Words, the lyrics is realli understanding. Step U is great but reminds me of evolution whereby she sings at a fast tempo plus all tat Wow yeah, wow yeah (Evolution) somehow similar to Wow, wow.wow, Oh no no no (Step U) Kind of catchy Phrase. haha...
Looking 4ward to the new single Fairyland c/w Alterna, heard it would be out in Augest, hooray!!! |

Ayu is #1 on my list.
I've been following her for 4-5 years now, she very talented AND very gorgeous.
I love her to death, and i find her very versatile. <3 |

hmmm...i just heard the performance of "fairyland". I like it, i think it's going to grow on me ^^;;; the song gives off a summery feel, and that's nice  |

I love Ayu She's my favorite J-pop artist!  after her it's Ai
She has amazing lyrics writing skills and her voice is very good 
I love most of her songs (she releases like crazy!!!) And another thing that brought me into liking her is her beautiful eyes! They're sooooo amazingly big and shiny 0 . 0;;;

I love ayu! My favorite songs from her are "Endless sorrow", "Boys & Girls", "monochrome", "Trauma", "LOVE~Destiny", "And Then", "RAINBOW", "SEASONS", "M", "Daybreak", "DEAREST", "forgiveness", and "Fly high". My favorite album is "LOVEppears" (bet you could tell, huh? ) and I think "Memorial address" is second, even though it's only a mini-album. I thought it was perfect.
I agree, she is extremely photogenic. She always looks so pretty! I love her music videos like "forgiveness" and "ourselves", etc, but I enjoy the simplicity of her older videos like "Trust" and "Depend on You" even more.
And she has so many remixes! O_o And all of them are pretty good, too. I really like her trance mixes the best, especially the "M (Above & Beyond Remix)" . That remix blows all other out of the water!! |

| Ayumi Hamasaki uis amazing. I'm a big fan of hers as well. I'm actually torn between BoA and Ayumi as to who is my #1 Jpop artist. I prefer BoA's looks over Ayu's yet Ayu's songs are better. My favorite songs of her are "Naturally", "Is This Love", "monochrome", "Evolution", "immature", "SCAR" (new found favorite ), "Moments" and "Carols". I'm guessing "fairyland"will be another favourite of mine once i heear the full version. I love her live performance of it. |

I just finished reading (in an ayu biography) that avex is thinking of having ayu dropped from the label because of the new management? Do you think there is any truth in this?
Well, I didn't think so since: a) ayu makes up about half of their revenues. If she goes, they're, in theory, bankrupt and b) new management is not a plausible reason for dropping her... c) just released a new single...
But then I thought that maybe avex believes that they can get as much success as ayu with Ai, or there is something deeper to the reasonings. Wasn't there a scare a while ago that she was going to leave the label (but not dropped...) I know avex doesn't like to associate they're success with hers, and maybe they've decided that dropping her can help prove themselves as a record label.
Or maybe this information is 100% false. Which is most likely, but I want to know why you guys think anyway. |
