realigion to me is jsut another buisness...i dun really discriminate them but i dun like them to use GOD's name to cheat ppl money or worst teach the wrong stuff

to me , im a free thinker. and i don't belive in death, heaven or hell all i know that if u are dead you jsut enter a period of endless sleeping (maybe u enter a endless dream...who knows)

and really most of the realigion = corporation/brainwash facility , donations = forced taxation (even thought they say its OKAY if you don't donate , but if you are in a church example : the one in your left and right donated and most of the people donated thus YOU are stressed to donate -.- )

theres a time when one of my good fren dragged me to church , the topic for that day is : finding your soulmate/wife .
The pastor( or whatever its called) started giving examples of christian that did not find chirstian as thier wife/husband ended having bad ends and encourage[or shud i say wanted] that christians to find christian as thier wife and husband -_- and everybody there agreed with him (except me) ....

I told my friend that it was pure bullsh*t but he say "thats because we noe that as one of the basic rule" ....after that I don't even step onto any church anymore . i guess most of the realigion in the world are just money spinner organization.

to me the most important that both partner loves each other who cares if his indian, malays or chirstians or muslims or even lesbian(I dun mind lesbians, some lesbians are pretty) or gays(just don't TOUCH me!!)<and with more gays in the world means...there would be more female for non-gay GuyS!! Laughing >

You know i hope they just abolish the heaven or hell thing (I think this heaven or hell thingy are just meant to be warning for those people that do wrong things eg,if they steal they would be bla bla bla in hell )

You know if I were to die i would want to go to SOUL SOCIETY and enter gotei 11!!<bleach FTW>Tongue

i don't get it. how's someone going to be homosexual if they don't live out there desires. closetting (not sure if that is a word...) their desires sort of kills the whole point of being homosexual. so christianity expects them to just deny who they are so god can love someone they aren't?

well...sort of...
I think it's all about not having sex, that's more or less accepted by God...like I said in general sex just for fun and without being married is tabooed...therefore homosexual sex is all-time tabooed, because it's "no good" for reproduction and most of the time the parners aren't married...at least, that's how I got it, when our teacher explained it...and he explained it quite clearly... Confused
so if the couple is religious and believes in heaven/hell, it's just about self-discipline for their religion and believes...if they aren't - why should they care? that's what I think Smile
if the partners just want to be near each other...I don't know, but I don't think that's a sin...I'm not a professional when it comes to the bible and religion, but that's what I remember... hmm
so, the problem is that most christians think, that homosexuality in principle is a sin and that leads to discriminatino and hatred... No
I myself have nothing against homosexual persons...I even have a good friend, who's lesbian, so it's no problem for me...and I hate hearing something offensive from people who discriminate them Mad

@ linlin:
you got me a bit confused...who do you mean with 'them' ("just let them be")? the ones that are discriminated or the ones who discriminate? Confused

in fact...the word 'hate' is awful and I 'hate' to say it... Embarassed
however...to not use the word 'hate', let's say...I get angry because of the fact, that some people discriminate others...maybe the people themselves aren't this bad, but discriminating someone is just not right Blank stare

it's okay Smile
anyways, this is way more logical Nod

and yeah, you're so right...just let them be...discriminating just destroys the life of the one who's being discriminated (in the worst case)...
I don't know, but people always seem to need someone who they can point at and say "you're bad!"...that's kinda sad... Sad

well people just don't accept those who are different from them. such is the root of many many problems in our imperfect world. i too hate to hear people discriminate against gay/lesbian people. last year there was a gay person in our dorm and another one who visited often and they were both such kind and wonderful people.
not to mention i come from san francisco, which has annual gay pride parades and a large homosexual population, yet despite this there is still discrimination against homosexuals.
ok i am done drifting off topic for now.

This is kinda off-topic but what disgusts me the most is CBC (Canadian-born Chinese) or possibly ABC (I have no experience with them so I can't say much) that discriminate against other Chinese coming from China or other asian countries. My friend, an international student from China, told me there's this CBC TA (teaching assistant) that talk all nicely to Caucasians but is reluctant to teach nicely to other Chinese. That's just plain stupid and he has totally forgotten where their parents come from, or if the root is deeper, his grandparents. It's really shameful when they think they are like superior than other Chinese just because they are born and raise in a first world country. No

With that said, most Canadians are still really nice people. Nod

yeah, that's pretty sick, eyn No
i mean, that TA is basically being racist against...himself Confused
it doesn't really make sense Confused
i don't see why people are racist against others. it doesn't make sense to me. but i guess that's a good thing

and about the homosexual thing
well, those are your beliefs, and i'm not here to stomp on them. so i'm just gonna drop the subject, since it's very sensitive for some people.

racist against self yes. but to a degree the TA might just be...americanized. (or canadian-ized) so then the TA would identify him/herself as more of an american/canadian than a chinese person. all how you interpret your own self.
obviously this is a very stupid notion as you are rejecting yourself and your roots. i have a friend who decided to reject his roots, but for a more reasonable purpose. if he stayed a citizen of his country he would be serving their military right now, instead of coming here for school. but the TA in question is rejecting his/her roots for no good reason whatsoever. disgusting.

haha, that one never gets old Laughing
it'd be quite sad (not to mention awkward) if they answered yes, truthfully though Shifty

just out of curiousity, what country was your friend from, Mansley? Confused

oh, and also, what are you doing up at that time??
don't pull the timezone excuse either, we're in the same timezone ya know! Evil

my friend is south korean. at 18 south korean males are forced to serve some time in the military. some of them decide to give up their citizenship to pursue education elsewhere, like my friend. i respect his decision but it makes me feel kind of sad for him...
kerushii...i thought you are on the east coast. well in any case i was only up at...3: 30 AM. (stupid emoticon...i had to put that space after the colon) if you must know...usually if i don't have class the next day i wind up sleeping from about 5AM-2PM give or take. class sort of ruins my fun so i sleep at around 2AM before days with class. yes i have exams soon. namely i had two today, but they were late in the day so i still slept whenever i wanted yesterday. sorry for being off-topic everyone!

@ Tatsuka
no, i didn't. i believe i'm at school when it's on.
it's tyra bank's talk show, Mansley. (i think)

@ Mansley
yeah, it's a big decision, but it is also a bit sad he had to give up his citizenship for that No
but a wise one, if it's what he thinks is best Smile
and no, i'm on the west coast ( Shifty )
wow, i have to keep my sleep schedule pretty much the same, or else i can't fall asleep when it's time to get back on normal schedule! like, if i did 5AM-2PM i would never be able to fall asleep that night! i guess it comes form being a hyper little monkey that needs to vent at school before she can go to sleep Giggle (those poor teachers, never stood a chance Giggle )
oh, so do you think you did well on your exams? (go ahead and quote this and answer in "mumble" so we don't get attacked for being off topic)
