I actually forgot that I discovered Ai on youtube. I saw the Frienger PV. I was like wow. She started getting much more attention than my former fav Koda Kumi (sorry Kuu, but that doesn't mean I don't like you). She's taught to me more positive in your ways. I like her style.  |

hehe, well, being the weirdo that i am, i was looking for animated .gifs when i found ai ()
ok, well i was trying to find some for my myspace, you see, and so i went to google images and i believe i was looking for tokyo mew mew pics  i found some really cute ones, so i went to the website they were from. it was a forum all in french o_0
so i tried reading some stuff (unsuccessfully, see this was during the summer before i started learning it in school)
but anyway, ok, so someone had posted a vid linking to youtube. there were 2 cute little bunnies (love-chan, though i didn't know at the time) so i watched the video. it was so good. it was set to daisuki da yo, and basically told the story of it with two love-chans. i watched it over and over and my brothers began to think of me as even more insane then before. needless to say,i really liked the song so i looked to see who it was by. ai otsuka. ok, and i checked to see what it was called, daisuki da yo. alright. so i went to wiki, read up about her, then headed over to ebay to purchase love punch. that's how i found ai.
how i found ch-ai is um...about 3 months after this probably. i get anime insider magazine and in it was an ad for a website that you can get itunes music cards for the japanese itunes. then it told me how to switch it to the japanese one. so naturally, i did to see if there were any ai songs on there(duh!) you see, i had only been exposed to her love punch songs and daisuki da yo, so i didn't know she had so many more! i listened to them. happy days, smily, biidama, frienger, i knew i was incomplete without them. so i went to youtube, watched some pvs, then decided to search the internet for ai downloads (yes, i admit it, go ahead and throw rocks at me)
that's when i found ch-ai. but i didn't join right away. i was even too dumb to go into ai's singles, but i did eventually scavenge most of her singles mp3's elsewhere. 
i remembered this site from when i was searching, and decided to come back and check it out. that's when i decided to join! and i've never looked back since!

I found out about this forum a long time ago, but I never registered since I wasn't that interested in Ai Otsuka at that time.
But now, she's one of my favourite artists, so of course, I want to be there, and talk about her.  |

i found out about ai from my brother (who's been listening to japanese stuff for i can't remember how long). it took a while for me to get into liking the whole japanese style, but now i really love pretty much everything about ai.
i found this place when i was looking for her PVs. i joined and wrote a few things in some threads. then i kinda forgot about this place and went into my extreme "YUI era" ( ) listening to YUI constantly for over a month. when i stopped that to get some variation i found out that i enjoyed listening to ai the most, and that's why i ended up here again. |

Well, I decided to re-do my statement of why I'm here. I want to talk to new people and have fun! That's all I want to do. And of course, I'm a great Ai fan. I wouldn't miss an Ai Otsuka thing for the world! |
