OK So I magnified the picture some and I think the kanji you can't read is 「呑」and the whole word is 「丸呑み」? which means "swallowing whole"...does this fit in with the rest of the sentence? |

There,
The rabbit who had popularity among everyone was
swallowed (this one may be a smidge wrong)
きっと僕にはないあの耳が、可愛らしいんだ！
まんまと耳をふやしたヘビは、
みんなにさっそく見せに行った。
”Those ears that i do not have are surely lovely! ”
The snake who had successfully added the ears,
immediately went to show everyone.
It seems he swallowed the bunny and added ears to himself
うさぎを丸呑んであの耳をふやしたみたい |
