maybe she wasn't there, because SHE was LOVE-chan? 
however I think these are funny news...and I suppose her voice will be Ai's voice in the same robotic style like in I can CHU♥!

I think Ai was absent from the press conference thingie because they want to make it clear that this is LOVE-chan's single, not another Ai single.
Yes, obviously LOVE-chan is Ai's bunny character and the voice will most likely be her as well. However, seeing as they've set up this whole 'debut' scenario as if LOVE-chan was a separate artist, it makes sense to do promotions as such. Just as Ai's latest illustration work under the pen-name AiO has its own page at avex's mumo shop site.
I'm not too familiar with Ayu's Ayu-pan character, but I would think that similarities could be drawn (ha!) there as well. |

I agree with the ayu-pan comparison, definitely.
Anyway, Love-chan won't be the same without Ai's voice and composition. She will lose a lot of appeal, for one, and that really defeats Love-chan's purpose - I'm pretty sure avex didn't desperately need a bunny singer, but it's both innovative and a great way to promote Ai. |

If LOVE-chan were to perform live, would it be even possible to sing in that giant costume, haha but well, I still think ai-chin is LOVE-chan afterall, just that avex is debuting it as a new bunny singer. |
