Synopsis: (From d-addicts wiki)
Megumi Noda, or "Nodame," is a piano student at Momogaoka College of Music. Although she is an extremely talented pianist who can play by ear, she can't read music. She also hates to take a bath or clean her room. For her daily meals, she usually grabs something out of her friend's lunchbox.
Nodame soon falls in love with Momogaoka's top student, Shinichi Chiaki. Born into a musical family, he plays the piano and violin brilliantly. Although his major is piano, he has secret ambitions to become a conductor.
Based on the big hit comic book by Tomoko Ninomiya, this is the romantic comedy of two completely different personalities. -- Fuji-TV

My Personal Review:
I randomly found this drama while searching through d-addicts site. After finishing most of the summer dramas I needed something new to watch. I knew nothing about the manga which Nodame is based on, and was pleasantly surprised by all the classical music which takes place within the drama.
The characters within the drama are very easily likable and the inclusion of the great music brings everything together. The basics of this drama are a comedic love comedy between Nodame (pianist) and Chiaki (conductor), with many interesting sub characters thrown into the mix.
If you can find the time to fit in another drama, I would highly recommend you try at least a few episodes of Nodame.
I'll add some screenshots once I get home from work |

| I've actually been following this drama closely since it was on air and it is DEFINITELY a must-watch. Some of the actors who are playing here can actually play the music itself. Apparrently the main casts, Ueno and Hiroshi both practiced heavily prior to the shooting the series. |

This drama is a must to catch espcially if you like music. Alot of classical music in this show. If you watch swing girl before... you wont have any problem identify the main actress Ueno Juri. She is so kawaii. Beside the main actor and actress, the other people also stand out among themselve. I have watch till the latest episode - epi 10 . Waiting for the last episode to be out. NODAMEA KAWAII |

| I just finished watching Nodame last night. It's so funny gosh! XD Chiaki-senpai has serious eye-rolling skills. I love Nodame, she's just too lovable and cute. Each character really have their own distinctive character which I like b/c then it's easy to remember them. Stressemann kinda scares me though. -__- |

| OMG I watched this randomly when looking for something on D-Addicts too!! It is soooooooooooo funny. I hope that they do a second season. I tried watching the anime, but it wasn't as good. It feels more...real live action. Especially with there being so much music in it. I read on the website too that they made a special orchestra JUST to do the S Orchestra and RS Orchestra called the "nodame orchestra"!!! I forget now, but it was like auditions or somethin' and the Tokyo Metropolian Orchestra even helped them out...I forget right now. |

| I agree, this was the best drama I've seen in years? But it's very cute and it's like a manga. However, Ueno Juri is awesome! It's a must watch! |

I started watching this drama 'coz I've heard so much about it and have grown very fond of Tamaki Hiroshi XD
It's very funny so far (only seen four episodes at the moment). I think both the main actors do a really good job. I feel kind of bad for Ueno Juri though. I seems like she gets hit a lot. LOL I know it's all acting but sometimes you wonder about the stunts XD |

Yes, this drama was very nice.
It's funny and some of the music pieces are nice. Ueno Juri and Tamaki Hiroshi were very good in their roles. |

Currently watching this. It's "flavour of the month" at JDorama.com, and for a good reason.. it's hilarious! Juri Ueno is fantastic as Nodame, and the rest of the cast are wonderful too |

Yeah, it IS hilarious!
A light hearted love comedy... ah...
Not to mention great pieces of music.
Episode 4 has Nodame playing Chopin's Impromptu-Fantasie in C sharp minor Opus. 66 for a bit... can't wait! |
