I'm using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 (got it from our cam) and for animated stuff I use Adobe Image Ready...my brother got it from somewhere...I think
I'm very satisfied with these programs and I learned to use them very quickly |

ooohhh. i should explain my sig...although i did it in another thread already.
1) virtualdubmod: used to open the pv and i can move along frame by frame to whichever i like and use ctrl+1 to copy the frame to clipboard. i found a good five second segment where the scene didn't change and ai stayed at a relatively fixed location onscreen. i took...25 screenshots, every fifth frame...so i spanned about 121 frame segment. (if you think about it, i believe that math is right. not 125)
2) paint: this was used to trim the screenshots to the right size. i did this in two parts to ensure every screenshot was cut in the same manner. i think i cut the top and left sides first down to the exact same dimensions. then i did the same for the bottom and right sides. also i don't know but i never seem to be able to cut anything but the bottom and right sides with paint so the first two were done by rotating the picture so it was upsidedown...so cutting the bottom and right was really the top and left. (confused?)
3) mozilla firefox: i wasn't able to drag and drop my cut screenshots into the gif program for some reason so i needed a way to copy the image to clipboard. mozilla was one of the first programs i tried to do this and it worked. i just open up the picture and right click and copy image to clipboard.
4) microsoft gif animator: i pasted all 27 frames into here. (the 25 from the PV, and two that i made to display the text) frame one says otsuka ai and planetarium, and lasts for one full second. the next twenty five frames last 17 hundredths of a second each. (i got this number from virtualdubmod...where i noted that each frame lasted 33 milliseconds. and i had every five frames which totalled 165 milliseconds each, so i used 17 hundredths of a second = 170 milliseconds, closest i could get) then the last frame lasts three fourths of a second. altogether the gif lasts six seconds. my other two gifs i made this exact same way have the same dimensions, frames, and duration...but they aren't ai so i decided not to use them here. |

Well I'm starting to learn how to use Photoshop CS2, so that's what I'm going to use to make my new sig. (The one I have right now is just something I made really quick and is only temporary. Yea, I know it looks bad ) |

I used Photoshop 7 for the graphic on my banner (it's an old graphic) but uh I used Paint for the words and stuff because I accidentally deleted my PS7 off my computer |
