Most of my fave anime are shounen. XD
My fave that I'm obsessed with is Bleach.
Naruto and FMA are some other ones that I love. Recently I've been getting into Dr.Gray Man. It looks good.

Mushishi
A series made up of stand alone episodes makes for a very laid back feel which mirror's the main character, Ginko, perfectly. A mushi is essentially a spirit and a mushishi is someone who's trained, or naturally gifted, when it comes to dealing with them. Some episodes are light and fluffy and other are dark and really pull at the heart strings, but each episode is simply amazing.

whoa, somebody's mentioning mushishi.
i know this anime, but just watched some of the episodes. nice anime at all. but now i'm looking for the live action of this mushishi

2 thumps up!! I became addicted to it that I went everywhere trying to find the novel version.

me too! Giggle
i found translations of most of the novels that i got somewhere... i just find it very irritating that she stopped writing them. Sad if she hadn't, the anime would've been longer than 45 ep, since it was originally going to be 68 eps. i'm not sure, but there might be a continuation of the series if she writes another novel. one can only hope.

well, FF is a game series, and not an anime. i'm not really sure what you're refering to. there was a series called 'Final Fantasy Unlimited' (which imo sucked) and an OVA called 'Legend of the Crystal' based on FF (haven't seen that one). and then there's the FF VII OVA 'Last Order', which i enjoyed very much. Nod if you're talking about any of those, you can count it as anime.
if you are talking about any of the movies 'Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within' or 'Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children' (which both were absolutely awesome) you can still call it anime, since 'anime' is the abbrivated version of the english loan word 'animation', which means that you can call any animation 'anime' in japan. but outside japan, anime is interpreted as japanese animation (CG animation too), but most commonly as animated manga style movies and tv series. so, if you say 'anime', most people won't think of CG animated japanese movies (i won't) but they are still anime, technically. Tongue some might disagree, though.

Though im a bit excited once again, as the shippuden series is already airing in japan Smile oh i forgot have you played the naruto narutimett hero 3?

well, since naruto is barely good enough for me to watch and fullmetal alchemist is a master piece, i'd say FMA. Wink

hmm.... i have only seen the first 2 eps of shippuuden. fillers have destroyed my image of naruto. Tongue bleach fillers were so much better. even though they weren't that awesome. and the fact that i've read most of the naruto manga won't make the anime that exciting. Sad still, i bet i'll be a great continuation. Nod the second part is really good, and like 200x better than the fillers.

Hahaahah, you can say that again. Why did the show fill in that much episodes anyway? What was the purpose of the fillers in Naruto? Confused

they had to make fillers, otherwise they would've caught up with the manga. and since the next part is a really long one, it's kinda hard to squeeze in any filler eps inbetween if they gain on the manga too fast. that was also the reason for the 50 ep long fillerpart of bleach.
