When I say "Asian goodies"...I mean posters, tour goods, plushies, etc! What do you collect, what artist is it of, and what is your collection?

For me, I collect Ayupans! Ayumi Hamasaki's cutie figurines! So far, I have about 14 + a cute stuffed animal of her pet doggie, CREA. I'm currently looking for a stuffed Marron. T_T I had a chance to get it once, but I missed it...so I've been searching ever since. They're pretty big plushies with the "ayupan" logo on the tag...tell me if you see 'em anywhere! I did also collect Koda Kumas at one time...you know, Kumi's cute plushies...but I don't really care for 'em these days b/c I'm not a Kuu fan anymore. =/ I wish I could buy a plushie of Ai Otsuka's "LOVE-Chan"!!!

I collect some goodies sometimes. I love posters, got a load of Hitomi Shimatani and Ayu. I'm extremely fond of Secret and BLUE BIRD though I'm too afraid to hang them. Maybe someday I would frame them. Haha anyone is able to provide help on framing?

I don't collect Ayupan yet since I think most of them are a little on the tacky side. However I'm inclined to purchase the new Hello Kitty and Secret ones since they look fairly cute. Same thing goes for stuffed toys I guess.. er I'm kinda picky or spoilt by the beautiful WWF plushies which manage to drive me crazy. I donno I guess I love goodies but I tend to think they are not my style and since they tend to be expensive with the problem of middlemen or jacked up prices.. well I end up not picking items up.

I also collect tour booklets, fan club pamphlets and photobooks. (when the photography looks pretty good) What is my prized goodie though is the pink INSPIRE tank top. I love it and I wear it on many occasions Love

I collect first press releases of the artist I like, such as Ai-chin (of course!), mihimaru GT and Ayumi Hamasaki (not so much anymore, no point fighting with other crazy fans). I don't really collect any other specific goodies, I do like posters and I currently have a few Ai-chin and Ayu posters. That's about it I think, I'm not rich and my parents have always against me buying all these Japanese CDs. Some of my friends would also express how it would have made more sense to purchase gadgets like cell phones, mp3 players etc. instead of wasting those money on CDs when one can get them easily off torrent sites or P2P softwares. No

I guess supporting artists by purchasing their releases is still quite important, stealing is always bad, especially stealing from your favourite artists. Mad

^ I second that one. I respect many artists and try to purchase whenever I can. Usually I tend to favour Shimatani most, because I respect her a lot. By the way, anyone can guide me to any good middleman? I'm trying to purchase something which will definitely require one and I've yet got to encounter one which I am 100% satisfied with.

I know zyzzyva is a pro in this area! Maybe rainbow12 have knowledge about this too seeing she has all those cool stuff of Ai-chin! Nod Anyway, a little search brings up this old reply of zyzzyva, she used Japamart and Shopping Mall Japan.

Thanks eyn for your replies. I used SMJ before but I'm not a huge fan of their automated system. However I never tried the other site so I'll check it out!
