Most of Ai's songs are happy and makes you want to dance to it. I'm not exactly a hard-core fan but whenever I'm really down, all I have to do is cheer myself up by turning on my mp3 player and just blast her music loud. It really helped a lot. I got through a lot because of her songs. Ai's songs  are like my anti-depressents..not that I'm really depressed..

Hahaha totally. If I am ever sad or I see something really disgusting, I always listen to Sakuranbo and SMILY and Frienger to make me forget about it.
But then sometimes I feel really angsty for no apparent reason, and then I listen to Planetarium and then I just feel like  . Yet somehow I enjoy that....... Gosh I am so wierd. 
Not to mention Ai's music has gotten me through lots of homework. xD |

i honestly prefer her ballad like daisukidayo. and kingyo hanabi...
i <33 pretty voice! that song is like my favorite ai's upbeat song! and i also LOVE girly!!
i also love ai's rockish songs like 5 9 AM and cherish!! |

| Ai's music has already changed my life dramatically. I wasn't as happy before Ai's music. I was, but...still...most the time, I was pretty upset most the time (goin' thru hard times right now)...but Ai's music uplifted me. As soon as I watched the subtitled version of the "SMILY", "Neko ni Fuusen", "Biidama", "Frienger", and "Happy Days" PVs...everything changed! I've been more positive, I've been more hyper & happy...I'm just so happy now -n- I owe it all to Ai's gift of music. It's amazing the impact music can make on someone's life. I'll be forever grateful to Ai-Chin...it's just helped me so much. =) |

I do believe Ai-chin's optimistic, outgoing and extremely crazy character can have this huge impact on her fans who enjoys her music. She's a role model that shows you how being optimistic about things can give you power and let you do well in many things. It's the positive thinking in her lyrics and also the simple way of living your life happily that make one thinks if there's really a reason to be overly sad or pessimistic about things.
I used to be quite pessimistic but I'm not anymore. Ai-chin shows me how you could do much more just by living life the simple way and be happy and enjoy life because everything isn't all that complicated after all. It's the person who's pessimistic that makes things complicated and hard for themselves.  Here's Ai-chin's favourite quote (check this thread if you haven't):

Well to a certain point she manages to cheer me up. I like it that I can feel silly and fool around while listening to certain songs  She hasn't changed my life or anything of that sort, (Ayu did) but it's always nice to listen to her. |

| I agree with ai-chan's music equals "happiness", whenever I feel frustrated or unhappy, her happy songs always does the trick. even if I listen to her ballads when I'm unhappy...it makes me realize things aren't really that bad~ |

Although like blablablaidontknow, I prefer Ai's ballads I have to admit I love listening to some of her faster songs especially once I saw them live ... well live on DVD/tv performances ... HA if only I can see her concert in person.
Regardless, it's great to crank up the volume and listen to songs like Happy Days and Smily after a stressful or frustrating day at work. And if I'm really down, some times I even pop in one of her concert DVDs and start watching that. Just seeing the energy she brings to her shows and how cheerful she is.
I'm a strong believer that people moods rub off on other people. So to see someone like Ai, whom comes across as carefree, happy, content, optimistic and energy, it cheers me up. Granted I'm sure Ai has her bad days too but her music can definitely=happinesses. |

I think my friends all agree that I go crazy whenever I listen to Ai's music. I will start smiling to myself (sounds insane, I know) and I will sing along to it. Of course not all Ai's music is happy, but those happy music like SMILY really makes me groove along with it and feel happy along with the emotions Ai is transmitting in the songs.
And her songs are really good to run with! |

I have to admit that Ai-chin's upbeat songs have a very cheerful effect on me. Listening to "Sakuranbo and "SMILY" instantly makes me happy.
I was once had friend who was very sad. I told her to cheer up and made her listen to "SMILY". It worked! Just one listen and she was already acting very wacky and felt happy. "SMILY" became one of her favorite songs.  |

Whether I'm listening to her ballads or her happier song ...I'm happy..because it's Ai's songs and Ai's voice and Ai's emotions....even though i cried when i listen to her ballads.. >.> heh..
One thing for sure i really need my daily dose of Ai-chin, if not i feel lost...
