Sypnosis:
Iwase Ken (Yamapi) regrets being insensitive and waited too long to express his love towards the girl he grows up with, Yoshida Rei (Masami). On Rei's wedding day (Ken is not the bridegroom!), Rei's friends made a special slideshow to celebrate this special occassion. As they go through all those high school photos, Ken realizes how he kept making Rei sad and wishes he could go back in time and do things differently again. His wish is granted, a spirit appears out of nowhere and gave him the chance to redo everything that appears in those old high school photos, with only one condition: each photo can only be changed once.
Review:
There can only be one reason why I am making this thread: this dorama is just plain awesome! If you like "Nobuta wo Produce", then look no further, this is definitely for you! 
Fun, exciting storyline, handsome guy + pretty girls, high school, romance, seishun, special power, time travel... this dorama has all the right elements that makes it a hit this spring! Honestly, this gotta be the best spring dorama for this season, I've watched quite a few other dorama this season and this is no doubt the one that make me anticipate the next episode the most! Each episode is a story itself so I suspect the viewership should be quite high for this dorama as those who missed an episode or two can still catch up easily.
This is not the first dorama where Yamapi and Masami work together, they were in "Dragonzakura" together last time. I think there's a lot of chemistry between these two actors, I especially like Masami since she's really cute and when she plays a high school student it's just so perfect! Yamapi, on the other hand, plays the dumb person role again, just like how he always acted dumb in "Nobuta wo Produce", but this time it's quite different, as he's traveling back in time to change whatever stupid thing he done in the past.
Watch this dorama if you can because this dorama is very entertaining IMO and perhaps I'm just a sucker when it comes to time travel, comedy and seishun!! Very fun indeed, now go grab it and watch it!

I LOVE THIS DRAMA!!!!! not because I'm a super Pi fans, but the storyline is pretty interesting. it actually made you think and teaches you something. at least it taught me not to "wait"...or else you'll regret for the rest of your life. sometimes, a decision must be made and you can't hope for miracle. anyhow, watched two episodes and I'm already excited to know the ending....haha~ 
I think Pi and akira CANNOT be separated, he added a little "akira" to his role~ which I don't mind a bit, hehe. I love this style in the drama, I think it suits him well (I really don't like his long hair...gomen ne~) and he can "kill" me when he wears a suit~
I think Pi and masami's acting improved quite a bit, which its always good news. I would recommend for people who likes Pi is watch it, because you'll like him even more~ trust me~  |

| Oh gosh just watched the first episode and it's so funny! I'm really loving it already. The plot itself is really interesting too, although I must admit Yamapi is the real reason why I'm watching it =p The hallelujah chance pose is really cute! Reminds me of Nobuta wo Produce. And yes, I do agree, he brought in elements of Akira in his character. So I suppose each episode will be about changing the fate of one photo? |

This drama is AWESOME!! I completely love it!! I feel so related to it, especially to the second episode. The storyline is pretty interesting. Yamapi is really cute
My favorite drama of the season. Period. |

| I finally watched the first episode the other day =] I totally forgot Yamapi & Nagasawa Masami were in Dragon Zakura together :P The whole being able to change the past thing is really interesting, even though at first I was like "wtf!?" when the fairy guy came down and talked to him for the first time lol. Really liking this drama so far =] |

I still haven't watched episode 3 yet, it's lying dormant in my documents.  Can't wait to get some time to watch it! I really hope Ken will be able to win Rei's heart over! I think they are rather compatible.  |

i absolutely LOVE this drama!
i love the characters and especially the plot outline for each episode.
episode 4 is absolutely DARLING.
hahaa i like the references to yamap's past dramas

Well, the dorama is still pretty entertaining so far, the pace is a little slow at certain parts, and Ken's attitude in the middle of each episode is always quite disappointing. Still, he always make up for it in the end, which sort of defines the whole flow of each episode. Sometimes you just wish Ken can do something boldly instead of being so vague with his actions, anyway that's my opinion, perhaps if he is too bold there wouldn't be too much of a story for this dorama.
I have some speculation (or theory) for this dorama after watching episode 4. I'm thinking while Ken might not be able to change the fact that the sensei and Rei is getting married even till the last episode, all these little things he have changed through "Hallelujah Chance!!" does improves his image in Rei's mind and he will probably express his love during the wedding and Rei will accept him and they will run away leaving sensei crying in the ball room.  Anyway, just my crazy imagination.  |

Well, eyn, I actually had the same thoughts as you! I mean, it can't be that Ken will be successful in stopping the marriage in the first place, since if that is so when he returns to the present he will find himself in an entirely different place which is just weird. I just love the Hallelujah Chance parts, so hilarious! I do feel the show is kinda boring sometimes though, with the standard plot and rather predictable storylines.
/edit: Does anyone have the theme song for Proposal Daisakusen? I'm more and more in love with it the more I listen to it, but I can't seem to find it anywhere, only the PV for it. Thanks for the help beforehand! |

Oh my gosh, I loooove this drama. Yamapi is back with his witty dry humor and I love it! All the characters are so distinguished and lovable!! I think that storyline is really what's so interesting.
I still haven't seen episode 4 yet, but I'm really tempted to! I'm supposed to study. >_> ProDai is really addicting, and at first, I wasn't sure if it was going to be good. But after the first episode, I was hooked! Totally recommend it. |

Okay, initially this dorama looked very promising but the recent episodes just make me feel so frustrated about the lack of action (and unnecessary action) by Ken (Yamapi). It seriously depressed me once the episode is over simply because of how Ken just let the chances go by again and again and how the history just repeats itself, I can't help but feeling really disappointed and unmotivated after each episode.
Of course, all this might illustrate the fact that it is hard for people to change drastically even if they have the chance to travel back in time. With that said, for this dorama to be interesting, they should have make each episode more positive and show us more sweet moments than bitter ones. I guess people don't want to feel bitter when the whole purpose of watching such a dorama is to have fun.  |
