I'm definitely interested in hearing this album. I mean I did like Ayu's My Story going classical.
I really don't mind jazz. I don't know if I'll run out and buy it though. It'd be nice if there were previews. But I'm sure someone out there will be "sharing" this so to speak. If I do like it I'll probably pick it up some day. |

Heisei wrote: Simply said, blues is a slower jazz. But there are some slight differences.
That's a pretty broad definition. I think it would be better to say there are some similarities between Jazz and Blues, but they are very different genres. In fact there are many different varieties of jazz, some of which sound very different even to other forms of jazz
Either way, i'd be interested in hearing the album. |

| Hmmm, now since this jazz album will be released on July 25th, which is also the new date for the release of PEACH/HEART, perhaps this will affect the sales somehow? |

This is very interesting. I love Ai-chan's jazz components in her music. I'm pretty sure this will be awesome. I think I want to order it. |

Happyhappy! How can we lose with this one? We still get all the official Ai releases, and then this other company gives the diehards something new to buy! They could release a different theme each month, I'd buy em all. Ai polka album, Ai metal, Ai reggae.. Yay!!

A Jazz album ? wow ^^;
I love all Ai Otsuka remix & instrumentals, so I think some Jazz version of her songs would be cool =) But I think I won't buy it, or I'll have to listen to it first. Wait and see, ne ? |

| I hope this one's real because I'd explode. My parent's are into the jazz so I grew up to love it and when I listened to Kenny James Trio jazz up Utada Hikaru singles I just about died. Please, please be true! |

CDJapan
So the Ai CD has somehow become a Ken Hirai CD? I guess I have a day or so to remove that from my order, as I assume they'll ship it on 7/25, the release date, whether or not the email says I have a week. Did anyone else get this email? There's no more listing for an Ai Otsuka Jazz CD on the site. How disappointing.. |

Shibo, I just got the same e-mail. Not only am I disappointed I'm quite mad and worried at the same time.
It does say you have a week to cancel it but in the past when I've tried to cancel items too close to the shipping date (like a day or two before, and you have to factor in the time zone difference) it usually can't be canceled because it's already in the shipping process stage. And since CDJapan gets a ton of orders, it's too much for them to sort through.
I'm hoping this is a different case. I checked my account and usually by this time it'll say that my order is in shipping process but right now it's saying yet to be shipped, so I have my fingers crossed that this situation will be different. |

| Damn that would have been good. Wonder how they managed to go from Ai to Ken Hirai though?! |
