this is one of my favorite translations of this song!
this is by far one of my favorite ai songs, it's so meaningful and touching...
and so sad! 
it took watching the pv like 5 times before i could get through it without crying
it's so beautiful!
oh, and i got to hear her cute talking voice, that was nice too
anyway, thanks for the translation of this beautiful song!

| Hum, the lyrics are nicer than I thought (my Japanese is still quite bad, improving daily though ) I think that these lyrics are one of the best from all Ai songs. And the song, well one of my favorite, played for uncountable times. |

There's some creative liberty in every translation XD; It's hard to find a literal translation to most things, especially when the languages are this different.

um...恋 actually means "love", and not "miss" so the part where you translated ”恋しくて" into "I miss you so much" is not actually correct. I'm not sure if thats so much the meaning she wanted to convey but I think the meaning you translated it into is pushing it a bit.
Also, despite Otsuka Ai saying "ドライブ", when you translated it into the two being on a car, it kinda contradicts ”バイク". I'm also a little confused with this, but I think she it could've meant they were on a bicycle, or even motorbike actually? I doubt the car meaning is being implied but I'm not 100% sure of this.
Anyway, apart from that, it's pretty good work. Thanks for the post! |
