I learned about her from being on Youtube. I had been looking at Jpop Music, when I came across Top Ten Jpop Songs. She had been in it twice, and I really liked the songs she sang. They were Sakuranbo, and Planetarium. Wink

I learned about her on the internet when I was seaching through YouTube. I saw her A-Nation 2004 Pretty Voice performance, and I instantly became a fan. I just became a fan this year Smile She's my favorite singer now.

I heard some people complaining about her on a messageboard and thought that I'd like to hear who was causing all this commotion. xD Now I love her!

She picked my curiosity back in 2004, when I heard her in chinese MTV... singing sakuranbo I liked her style and the sing keep playing in my head for a very long time.. but I nearly forgotten her when we moved to another place... but old flames started to resurface (and even stronger) when I've seen and heard her once again on the net. Maybe 2 years ago or so one of my freinds would play her music around me. Even though I usually found JPop boring and all the same I thought she was really good. I asked who it was, and got some burned CDs of her PVs and songs and went from there.

I first saw her on the TV show Yaguchi Hitori, which you Mo-otas will know is Mari Yaguchi's show she started after leaving Momusu. They played a clip from Neko Ni Fuusen; after I saw that, I had to find out more about this "Otsuka Ai". Next I found Kingyo Hanabi, and pretty much fell in love with her right away. The rest is history. Smile

Three years ago I was in Chinatown and I was looking through various of CD/DVD stores, and Ai's "LOVE JAM" album captured my eye. But I didn't buy it, and after checking in and out of the stores a few times (week after week), Ai's album was always there in the corner and I was like, "Eh, what the heck, I'll give it a try." And that is how I became a fan and acknowledge Ai's music.
