I know that songs like Planetarium and Daisuki Da Yo have earned the reputation as being "sad' songs, per se. But if you look into this song, it's pretty sad as well. When you look at the first stanza, she sings about the morning she is having. She then says, "Standing strong despite the blowing wind"...after which she goes back to a time and place in her memory when she was with someone she loved. She seems to reminisce a lot, which (to me) seems like she is mourning the loss of a friend. "Your warmth that I feel when we embrace, I can't forget even till now." It's a beautiful song with some amazing lyrics. It's made it to my top ten list...hehe.

as quoted, this song adds to the list of "sad" song. the thing is, her song have a particular theme: where she is so deeply in love with some1, and it is a fleeting moment. (1year? 2 year? not too long..) and she can't seem to shake it off. in all her songs, she potrays it as something hurtful, but it is something too beautiful, something worth taking along in life. even Pocket/Ticket seems to show that. ah... the beauty of Romeo and Juliet romance eh? =\

i've been propping up "old" songs lately eh? i just cant help it, i have Otsuka Ai on random everytime i'm on transit, thus scrutinizing every song there is, old and new... =]
