I like it a lot. 
Also, the download thing?
Maybe open it for a while, like a test or something, then if it gets bad again you could close it?
Although, i guess that's kinda annoying, huh? I suppose its your call. |

| hey geek master u never failed to amaze me. So far this is the best layout i've seen... I was kinda surprised to see this when i was logging in. The "wow" factor is there. I voted for HEART although PEACH is nice as well. Just prefer Ai's look in HEART, looks cuter! |

this is a hard decision to make^^ peach and heart banner both look so awsome^^ but I chose heart afterall^^ ai-chin look a bit more kawaii there^^ and thanks for the images eyn^^ I gonna make a new theme for my 360^^
about the gallery^^ I feel bad that I didn't contribute much^^ most pics of ai-chin I got from channel-ai so there not much of pictures in my collection that channel-ai don't have^^ but I'll take a look at my collection after my final (which is next month) and do the best I can^^ I luv channel-ai gallery^^ it's al have need when I need to do some graphic abt ai-chin^^ as always thanks eyn, our delicated mods and all contributor who make channel-ai such a wonderful place!!!! |

song wise, heart > peach
bannerwise, peach > heart 
i kinda like this style because its really simple however, it seems a little TOO light, and therefore, a bit bland
but then again, im bias since i prefer dark colours XD |

Excellent work yet again, eyn! 
I'm not particularly keen on this new single, but the theme certainly makes for a wonderfully clean layout. My first reaction was, "Oh, the colors make it the polar opposite of the Planetarium layout!"
Regarding the downloads section, I don't think it should be available to all registered members seeing that this will probably cause similar leeching problems faced before. If you reopen it, newbies will just get the wrong idea and gorge themselves on the seemingly unlimited number of downloads without once feeling the need to contribute anything to the forum. That particular section is kind of a big deal and should be open exclusively to those who are responsible enough to manage it. I think 'responsibility' is the key word here, and registered members who have yet to demonstrate this quality shouldn't have access to it.
Besides, the way you've been doing it so far hasn't caused any major problems so I don't see a need to change it all of a sudden. |

i noticed the change with the external links. thanks! much better now. 
one thing just hit me... that heart/peach icon, i'm pretty sure i saw it on the "no cover yet" picture in the CHU-LIP thread. how come? has that little picture been out long? and if so, why? i just started speculating if they were doing PEACH or HEART before CHU-LIP or something but then decided to release CHU-LIP first. (ok, this is really off topic...) |

Geez, looks like I missed a ton of stuff again! My computer decided that it didn't want to start up so I'm actually running ubuntu through the CD.
The new layout is awesome and when it comes to banners I'm going to have to sway over to the HEART side because I just like that expression on Ai more then PEACH. The new layout is pretty sweet too, just more of what I love, as always. Nice work, eyn. |

For a moment there I thought the system log me out again, but it turns out our geek master had been hard at work with another layout!
Absolutely love the simplicity and the detail in the layout: the simple black and white header, the gradient colour bar, the 'preview' and 'submit' signs at the bottom, the use of multi bright font colour to make it look less bland. As for conclusion, this is what I have to say: I think I found a new default layout! 
I would suggest that we leave the download post to regular members only. Though we don't have a big leech problem now, I have a feeling it'll start happening when we make it open to all. Maybe not immediately, but once word gets out there's no stopping from people coming to leech the downloads. |

Thanks for the wonderful theme, eyn! I like it better than the CHU-LIP one, mainly because it's easier on the eye and I really really like the clean promo shot Ai did. So, thumbs up for this forum style!
As for PEACH/HEART, I can't decide, so I'm not voting at all. Haha. Am using the PEACH one though, cos I'm too lazy to change it.
Regarding the download issue, I would think it a better idea to leave it as it is to just the regulars. I find that it's a good system, and if people find out that it is now open to all registered members, the whole leeching thing will start all over again. I'm sure you won't want that. And besides, there's no complaints so far about such a system, so I don't see why we should change it. |

great new forum style! the monochrome and pink works really well.
my vote is for the PEACH layout. i think its her expression, with the slightly open mouth. i can imagine she is about to talk to me! (oh yes, and the bare shoulder  )
as for making downloads more available, my suggestion is to keep the present arrangement but include an open downloads section that can contain the already available PVs and singles as well as recent TV performances. after a few months the TV videos could be moved to the existing download section where they become a part of the permanent archive.
when i first found channel-ai and browsed the forums i thought it strange that there were no TV performances shared - that is until i became familiar with how things worked. but i would have to say this delayed my involvement. (not everyone is interested in commenting on hair styles, outfits, sales figures and release dates.)
the thing about the TV performances is it is about her music, which is what being a fan of Ai is ultimately about. making her performances available will hopefully encourage the right sort of person to visit and get more involved. if they dont, and just download, i guess that can be monitored and an encouraging message/email sent after a while, along the lines of "I see you have downloaded a few videos. what do you think of them? which ones do you like best and why? we would love to know..." |

Actually, I've noticed that heart thing on the "no cover yet" shots, too. But it was on more than just CHU-LIP I believe, I think that's one of Ai's little "symbols" and she's been just using it for the no cover image in the past, and decided it just wasn't justified doing that, so she wanted to give it a place in the spotlight by actually using it for a single. Maybe she even named one of the songs HEART because of it! But I dunno, that's just my 2 cents. |

it's been a little while since i logged on, i was distracted by other things lol
but i'm so happy to see a new forum theme! i love the white, grey, pink colors  (i think i'm starting to like pink more now). the theme is nice and clean, i think it looks perfect. i love the new LOVE chan on my search bar too! it's so much better than the google 'G'.
i had to choose the PEACH banner, i don't know why, but i just love the whole PEACH thing hahaa
