Ai's reasoning behind the design of the upcoming album, revealed in an interview with BENT WEB, "Heart of 6 Pieces." Each of the 6 single songs included on the album have a distinctive 'image'/concept that she associated with a different color:

Frienger ・・・ yellow ・・・ Friendship
Renai Shashin ・・・ pink ・・・ [Romantic/Passionate] Love
Yumekui ・・・ purple ・・・ Dreams

eyn told us that a short clip of "Kumuriuta" PV was shown in the latest Music Station in which Ai-chin performed "HEART". Iwai Shunji is the director for her new PV.

Ai-chin's 4th studio album "LOVE PiECE" will be released on 9/26 together with 2 other titles: "Ai am BEST Tour 2007" Live DVD (comes with Special and Regular Edition) and "Ai am BEST" album Flash Price version (CD only) for limited period of time (till 10/31).

^ just to clarify, the part about 'Kumuriuta' meaning 'Cloudy Weather Song' is wrong (zyzzyva apologized for it later in the thread). had it been 'Kumoriuta', then it would be correct, but as for now neither of us knows what the 'kumuri' part means.  |

Yes, so sorry for letting everyone down so early... There goes my track record.
Sleep deprivation is a bad thing. 
Now a typo on behalf of CD Japan is my only salvation...! 
All I could find on kumuri was the verbs mentioned by mangomalte, its use as someone's name, and scattered references in conjunction with matsuri (festival) celebrations...
I still think the komoriuta reference is there, though.

Regardless of what the mysterious new song/PV is, I am very excited to finally see news of a new album. 
I'm still waiting for my copy of PEACH/HEART. As catchy as the two songs are, they are slower to grow on me than her previous work. 
But I have faith in Ai, so for the first time, I pre-ordered *both* versions. (I'm such a sucker for First Press bonuses... ) |

Yes! Finally, a new album, although it is pretty predictable this will be so after FIVE singles. Time enough to make a new album! I'm quite excited about it, especially since they are hyping it up so much by aligning its release with the two other tour DVDs as well as the wonderful sounding first press items! I would definitely want to watch the U-boat MV
The 3 way box sounds really cool too. Although from zvzzya's suggestion, I don't really see how it will work. Working with different colours is a really interesting thing too. |

yay for a new album finally! i was sad that she didn't include some latest singles on her BEST album, so the arrival of this new album in Sept will satisfy my wish of hearing her recent singles altogether 
PUNCH -> JAM -> COOK -> PiECE... hmm... how does PiECE link to the food theme that's apparent in her album titles? or is Ai still at the Peach x Peach x Piece word play? |

i just got the email from cd japan too hahaha man... i'm gonna be so poor at the end of this year....
all these releases at once, by Ai and also a whole truckload of L'Arc~ releases... i'd better keep working hard hahaha...!!!
i feel like this is going to be a good album already! |

| Ohhhh I'm so excited! This will definitely hurt though, especially because I dont have any money coming in >_< Does anyone know whether I should get it from yesasia or CDjapan? I have never used CDjapan before.... Oh well, I'll get it some way I just dunno which version I should buy!! Perhaps the photobook one... |

I think Piece can still sort of fit into the food theme. Maybe it's like piece of pizza or piece of cake/pie ect.
Definitely excited for the new album. There's so many songs she can put on there. I don't know if all her singles will make it on the album though.
Avex is gonna make me go broke again in the fall with the album and concert dvd coming out at the same time. |

All of you talk about food when you mention Ai's Album, because of the two first album, but for LOVE COOK there is no food on the cover, LOVE PUNCH could be not the drink, but why not the Shape of Ai Otsuka, her crazy punch, her humor on songs album, then the Jam of Ai Otsuka (PONPON), her music cooking, and now the Pieces of her music .... XD My explanation is totally crazy O___O XD
Is Yesasia actualised ? I can't order on CDJapan >< |
