It really doesn't matter me if Ai or any other female singer I like has a boyfriend. I never really got why fans would stop liking someone because they got into a relationship. Ai is definitely girlfriend material but I have no delusions of ever being with her.

honestly, some people are diehard and hardcore fans. they really do change their image of an artist once more of their personal life is revealed. so, many marketing techniques is to cover an artists personal life so it wont hurt their images.
