Hi, this may sound like a strange thing to ask, but I've been wondering it a bit since I've started becoming addicted to recent jodramas I've watched on crunchyroll.com and the ilk.

My question - I often notice that in the big romantic moments in the dramas themselves that often when finally the characters do kiss it's so chaste that you sit there wondering - what was that? Is that because most of these air on Japanese TV and they have their boundaries they can't cross or is it the culture - where they believe possibly such acts of affection are more a private matter? Or am I a jaded Canadian who can see folks kissing on the corner and think nothing of it?

It's so good I'm not in any of these jodramas myself with these good looking guys, because I'd scare him off with the kiss I'd give them if I was the female lead. Well, I'm not tacky that way, but I'd give a long, melt your toes kiss...that much is certain. But, tender.

I do have to say that the romantic feel and touching moments are some of the best in anything I see in jodramas, it's not tacky in the least like in some American teenage romantic shows of the same fashion here. It's rather refreshing all the same.

Alright, that's it:)
