daisuki da yo has to be my favourite, it made me an ai-chin fan and I think it is one of the most touching songs I have ever heard (second only to my aunt and cousin playing thier song at their son/brothers funeral)!
It makes me cry everytime I hear it!

Ai-chin writes amazing lyrics, but I think some that stand out are:
Shabondama- Like Stormchild said, this song is definitely overlooked by many fans No . I love her metaphor about the relationship to a bubble. I think it was one of the best ways to convey how fragile it was.
Kumriuta- "Cloudy sky, don't cry." That line alone is just so beautful, really. Sad
Ameiro Parasol- The lyrics aren't poetic or completely outstanding, but it just reminds of a fond memory. Giggle

"Kingyo Hanabi" is the song that I thought of when I read the topic. The symbolism in the song, and the play on some kanji if i remember correctly. Good song. Second would be "CHU-LIP" because...I think everyone gets those feelings in "CHU-LIP" as you get older.

I agree with Octocoffee, Shabondama has amazing lyrics...they are so moving. And the way she sang it in one of her live concerts...it was perfection. My next choice would be Kingyo Hanabi. Those two song's lyrics are just beautiful...

i've listened to daisuki dayo years ago. Smile
and when i first listened to it, and got to see the PV and lyrics..
i broke down into tears..

felt that i could feel how ai-chan felt that time when writing this song..
and, when you see her cry, it's so saddening, i can't control my emotions too.

"People have hands.
Hands = The part that comes out from your arms, used for grasping.
For me, hands are used to feel the warmth of that person.
I want to remember it forever.
I don't want to let go.
But it's getting colder and colder..
So I'll keep you warm.."

loves!

For me its Kingyohanabi definitely, I love the way she expresses herself in the first paragraph, and I can completely relate to the feelings she tries to convey. Smile

Compare with her other songs, I would like the Kingyo Hanabi (the best to listen in rainning day). Initially, I really like this song after I saw her perform on A NATION, singing in the rain~

It kindna very slender and peaceful and make me comfortable.

Ai always can create some joyful songs in the summer time ~ these songs quite to be suitable in KTV ...
