I love this mangaka's mangas XDDD I've only read Marmalade Boy and read some pages of Mintna Bokura but she's awesome!!! Her drawings are amazing!!! She draws for Ribon

I read Marmalade Boy and Kimi shika iranai, and some of Random Walk, Ultra Maniac and Handsome Girlfriend (never get to finish these for some reason). Her drawings are cute, perfect for those shoujo-type manga. My favorite manga of hers is Marmalade Boy. |

Oh, you have scans of 'Datte Suki Nanda Mon' ^__^!
I love Yoshizumi Wataru's manga. With the exception of Marmalade Boy, because it was just too cheesy (Like, cheesy beyond cheesy. And I liked her manga in general for being really original, with lots of plot twists. Like you didn't know Miki and Yuu would end up together, you know? [/sarcasm]). I absolutely adore Handsome Girlfriend and Datte Suki Nanda mon ;D! Mint na Bokura was cute too. |

I love Yoshizumi Wataru's manga. I've read Ultra Maniac, A little bit of Random Walk, own half of Marmalade boy, Kimi shika iranai, and Mintna bokura. Although her stories were generally a little typical teenage romance, they're always funny and enjoyable to read with nice plot twist. I love her character designs and their outfits.
I actually cried at the last volume of mamarlade boy. |

Haha, this is a kinda old thread, but I'm gonna resurrect it anyway!
I own the complete series of Ultra Maniac and Marmalade Boy and have read both over and over again. Ultra Maniac is like, the first manga I ever read, too.
I really wish they'd translate some of her other series though!
*sigh*
Maybe one day.
And I so love her drawing style!
Oh, and I bought the first volume of Datte Suki Nanda Mon, even though I can't understand it. Such a dork...
Again, Someday, I will understand it.
Clover wrote: Another fact I like this manga is because the main girl is called Ayu Yeah, I believe she addressed this in one of the little sidetalks in like, the first or second volume. At the time, I had never heard of Ayu (the singer, sad, huh?)
She said she wanted to use that name in a previous series, but there was a rather popular singer with the name, and she thought by then, it was ok to use the name. But Ayu was, and is still rather popular.
Oh well. |
