(I saw the 2007 Best Artist thread already, but this is a different voting so I called it 'golden')
There's an award giving to the best artists and newcomers of 2007. Please vote for Ai!
There are also Tohoshinki (DBSK - TVXQ), ayaka, w-inds, koda kumi, BoA, nakashima mika and mihimaru GT so please resist.
The first class / header is best pop artist of 2007, the second class is Enka, and the third is best newcomer. I'm voting best newcomer C-ute since they don't have Ai...but you can vote for whoever you want there. The survey ends at November 19 so please get your vote in for Ai if you already haven't.
Voting this way → ベストヒット 歌謡祭2007. |

Aww. My top 3's are in there. Ai, Ayaka and Mika But I voted for Ai.
And for the middle row, I just randomly picked on. I think it was the person on the left
The new artist, I voted for JYONGRI. Shes the only person Ive heard from that list, but thats only one song, but i like it |

Thanks for voting
I really hope Pocket / Ai beats LAST ANGEL / Kuu, but seeing the Oricon sales, it's sort of risky. ><
Anyway, awards ceremony is at...November 26, 9PM Japan time? I don't know even if it'll get here, because I'm in California, of course. .-. Maybe it'll float here somehow though. I hope C-ute wins. If they lose to oshiri kajiri mushi, I'll be upset. Takasugi will be understandable. |

Oh, I already saw this poll on a BoA forum, but I voted for Ai-chin. I didn't know any of the artists in the Enka section, so I just voted randomly. For the best newcomer, I voted for C-ute! I loved all their singles this year. |

ahhhh...NO AYU. but sadly, I would voted for either ayaka or Ai if the poll hadn't stopped already. |

| ^ You wouldn't find Ayu's name on polls like this because she had asked not to be nominated for any more awards since 2004. |

Sorry. My timezone is different. It's ended, yes. ^^'
It seems not enough people had voted for Ai, or an amazing number had voted for the other.
She didn't win anything. ...But of course she still has the pride of having been nominated.
I assumed they were going for the songs in the promo pictures, but I don't know if I'm right anymore, I don't see the winning songs listed. All of the artists posted video messages, but I didn't get to catch Ai's. I was too preoccupied with ℃-ute.... I know, I know
Pop Grand Prix: Koda Kumi
Enka Grand Prix: Mizumori Kaori
Best Newcomer: RSP
Akikawa Masafumi won the special 40th anniversary commemoration award.
No one that I wanted to win won. x_x But at least oshiri kajiri mushi didn't win! |

^ Yeah. But even the exposure that ℃-ute got from it will probably help their sales significantly too.
I can't wait for their 3rd CD to come out, it's going to be so great
I hope they go next year... Or at least someone from HaroPuro. Didn't DEF.DIVA go once?
Oh and... I heard Koda won for Ai no Uta. I haven't heard it before, but it's a ballad, isn't it?
Is she that good at ballads? There's no way she can be better than Ai. |

^ Agrees. I don't think she's that fit for ballads even though I haven't heard it yet. Aww, that sucks. Ai didn't win. Haha, but at least she knows that she has tons of fans out here.
No one that I wanted to win won. Maybe the enka person, since I just randomly picked one hehe.
Thanks for the news anyways |

| well...think about it, there are more koda kumi fans than otsuka ai fans, of course we know which side the fans their bread will be buttered on.... |

| Ah well, I'm sure Ai will hit back, and win something, hopefully sooner rather than later. |
