Yea Yuna looks great on the cover for her new single. The bangs work for some reason. I just saw the PV on youtube and I'm not too overly impressed. Maku is pretty much on the dot about how this is another pop song similar to Stuck on You but a bit toned down.
I guess I just miss Yuna's power ballads. For me it was hard to tell if there's any improvements on her vocals as the song doesn't require a lot of change is vocals.
I'm actually interesting is seeing a concert DVD for her Heart tour but I don't see one being released yet. |

Here is Yuna Ito's new single =) Included Urban Mermaid, Colorful, and Mahaloha -remix-. I didn't put Mahaloha (Instrumental) in. The single is charting between 8# and 10#.

Since I didn't receive my copy of the single, I haven't seen the DVD >__< I hope the performance will be good, but I don't have to worry about Yuna =)

I actually heard about this a month ago but was too afraid to post it since it wasn't confirmed at the time and Yuna's fans were saying that it was a false rumor. However, due to a new video posted on Youtube and a pre-order available on CDJapan, I believe that this is true now.
You're probably wondering what I'm talking about. Yuna Ito's next single is just around the corner and this time it's something unexpected. She's actually doing a duet with Celine Dion!
It all started back in October when Sony released a tribute album to Celine Dion done by Japanses artist. Among those artists was Yuna Ito. Yuna Ito did a cover of Celine's song "My Heart Will Go On" (theme song to the Titanic movie which I'm sure many of you have heard of).

I actually wasn't so sure about this duet when I saw the previews on the interview that I posted on my previous post because it felt like Celine's voice was more powerful when they would both sing together but now hearing the whole songs, I think this duet worked out. Yuna's vocals are powerful enough to match Celine's vocals. |

I can't imagine how exciting this collaboration must be for Yuna. I was slightly worried at first, because Celine has such a powerful voice and while Yuna is amazing, I wasn't sure she'd be up to the same standard. She really surprised me, though! She sounded wonderful! The song is gorgeous and Celine and Yuna sound lovely together! The video, while plain, is also really cute. I love the smile on Yuna's face throughout most of the video. She looks gorgeous and is literally beaming.
I can't wait for this to come out! |

Ouch this tread hasn't seen any activity for quite some time. Time to spice things up a bit.
As some of you know Yuna Ito's 2nd full length album will be released this year. The album will be titled "Wish" and it is set to be released on Feb 20th which isn't too far way.
The album covers have surfaced and have begun circulating around the internet.

This will included her singles that have been released after her first album (Heart) as well as the cover she did of Celine Dion's song "My Heart Will Go On." I have yet to see the titles of the new songs that will be on the album.
At this point and time no news of a first press but like Yuna's first release, the CD+DVD is a limited release.
As for what I think ... I have to say I like both covers. I personally like them more than the cover for Heart. However I'm iffy about buying this album. The singles Yuna released last year didn't impress me that much. I know she's capable of songs that require more powerful vocals. Granted I am a bit biased. I prefer her ballads and a good chunk of stuff she released last year was mid-tempo or faster. I do like the the duet she did with Celine and the cover she did for Celine's song, but I think I'll hold back until previews (or more) of her new songs surface. [/url] |

haha, i was just going to post that i was thinking she ought to release an album soon. i guess i haven't kept myself updates with her releases...
nice, the covers looks much better than the HEART covers. imo. hopefully the album is better too. |

the CD+DVD version of Whish looks gorgeous. As always. I like the CD only edition too, but the CD+DVD edition is better. Better than Heart, though. But I don't think I'll buy this album the day of its release... I was a little disapointed by her two last singles so I think I'll wait.

| The covers are way better than HEART. I enjoyed Yuna's current releases. I just hope the new album tracks won't be a disappointment. Her last album had strong singles but the album tracks were like fillers. |
