After viewing a couple of her music videos, it is fair to say that she is simply cute, not sexy, but very cute.

| She IS very cute. If I were a guy, I think I'd adore her more than be 'turned on' by her. Her sexiest video was probably Kuroge Wagyuu.......I guess we'll see now that she's maturing, but I think, publicly, she'll maintain her cute/innocent/sunny attitude. |

her live concert performances of Kuroge Wagyuu (at Jam Punch Tour, Love Cook Tour, and Ai am Best Tour) are rather sexy.
the music video for HEART, which introduced me to Ai, was both cute and sexy, in my opinion.  |

^ Strangely, when I watched the HEART and Kuroge Wagyuu PV's, sexy was among the last things I thought of. I didn't really think about that aspect but while I guess she was reasonably sexy in Kurge Wagyuu, I really didn't get that vibe from HEART...she was just a bit more revealing.
I guess for me, the face plays a huge factor. And I really can't get around Ai's face as a description of sexy...very very cute, but not sexy for me. |

yeah, her face is just all cuteness.
but she is maturing. she's an incredible artist and an incredible girl and too old for me romantically but she's still sexy. i don't know what else to call her "Love Cook Tour" performance of Kuroge-[insert rest of ridiculously long title here].
and it's perfectly fine with me to call her both cute and sexy in a flirty not slutty way.
few can pull that off well. koda kumi, on the other hand, isn't cute at all, and i don't find her that sexy either. |

I agree. When you look at her face, all you get is cuteness & innocent.
But I think Ai could be sexy if she wants to portray such an image. I remember when I first saw her Kuroge Wagyuu single cover, she looked very sexy to me because of the devil horns she had on her head and the lacy dress she wore. She looked more mature and different from her usual cute image. However, when I watched the PV for Kuroge Wagyuu, it actually didn't give me that sexy vibe at all. I thought she was cute being all goofy but in a sort of naughty way? 
But yeah, I think her HEART PV is by far the most sexiest image she ever had. It kind of frightened me a bit to see her sudden change because it was quite a huge contrast, but I guess she is maturing and wants to show a "different" side of her. However, I found the HEART PV still very beautiful, despite the fact that the dress she was wearing was quite revealing. But even with such a sexy outfit, her face/expression still remains innocent and cute.
I find even her HEART/PEACH single cover quite sexy with her just showing her legs. Sexy doesn't necessary mean you have to show your boobs or be in a bikini of some sort. And even in her Renai Sashin PV, with the shorts and t-shirt was quite sexy too. Even in her LOVE PiEce album, I thought some pictures were quite sexy, too, with her just posing and wearing a spaghetti strap dress. I think she shows sexiness in a very subtle way and I really like that about her--that she doesn't use her body to sell her image. |

^ haha. i totally agree with you. the PV of Kuroge Wagyuu wasn't really sexy at all. but the live performances were.
also, if you look at some of the photos in her first photobook, she is rather sexy.

random sidenote: she's also rather skilled at hitting baseballs (see LOVE IS BORN -4th Anniversary-) and likes to go bowling a lot (like me ), so she's fun in a sporty way too |

i agree with sweet_honeydew too.
HEART PV was the most sexy PV i've seen from ai chin.. Her dress was hot! and the PV showed her legs, her cleavage.. wow. haha. but kuroge wagyuu was plain cute, funny and ai acting naughty..
PEACH/HEART single cover was sexy in a way it is like cute-naughty-flirting. hahaa. i find it cute because of the "twist" she posed behind her butt. naughty flirting cause it only showed her butt and leg! hahaa.
overall, i dont think ai is sexy, but she CAN be. And the way she gives off this sexy feel is not through sexy dance or wearing little clothes but her own cute and unique ways.. |

| I don't think I've ever thought of Ai as sexy. I think it's just because of her media image of cute is so ingrained into my brain, it's hard to think otherwise. It's easy to imagine her as flirty for me, but I can't seem to use the word sexy. |

^ I just remembered one other thing, Ai-chin likes to drink with her friends to relax. I also found that concept difficult to get around although it shouldn't be that hard considering she's already what, almost 24? She's just such a cute-type to me, that her drinking was like " OMG NO IT DOESN'T SUIT YOU!"
But that's just me being too narrow-minded
If I considered her to be the 'sexy' type then I wouldn't really have had a problem accepting the fact that she drank, don't ask me why...it's just the way I am  |

| I think she is more cute than sexy. That is what I love about her. To me, she has a very innocent and cute look. I do think she can be sexy too though, like in the HEART PV. Either way, she is great |

@hiro: YEAH! I was going to bring up that picture from her first photobook! IT IS indeed very sexy.
Ah really? Ai is into baseball and bowling? Well actually, Ai does seem like a bowling type of person to me, I don't know why, but she gives me the feeling that she's a bowling type of person. That's really cool! I love bowling but I suck at it. XD And I actually haven't seen her 4th year anniversary concert yet. I know it's available on DVD on YesAsia? I was going to order it but I didn't have money at that time. I also saw it up for download at a forum, but the file was too big and I had no space on my HD. 
I thought this picture was rather sexy!
Her facial expression allures this very sexy but yet elegant vibe at the same time.
And speaking of her first photobook, these images are very sexy!
 
Her hair and body is wet in the 2 pictures above, making her look very seductive.
 
^This is very sexy to me as well. I always thought Ai could do some Jrock or go punky style. 
 
And the very last 2 pictures just goes to show that Ai can be sexy. Just look at her expression and pose in the last picture.

I couldn't have said it in any better way than you did. She CAN totally be sexy if she wants to. I mean, the pictures I posted pretty much say she can. And yes, I agree. I like the fact that she doesn't show sexy through dirty dancing, which is what makes her unique and elegant. Haha, and I agree so much with you on the PEACH/HEART single cover. I'm so glad I ordered that single. She does have really nice legs though! |
