truly not my fastest download speed, my fastest download speed is about 580-600kB/s, im supposed to be on a 5mb connection, but since im on DSL, i get the overhead as usual |

pretty slow compared to the other results...but maybe it's because I live in Germany and the servers are somewhere in the USA or so...  because normally I get higher download speeds...e.g. I downloaded something from a torrent today and it downloaded with a speed of 1,1 MB/s... 
normally, I get between 300 and 600 kb/s I'd say but it varies a lot from server to server... ^^"
and when I'm upload (e.g. to mediafire) I'm uploading around 400 kb/s...
well...I think I could get better results |

I had such a problem with losing connection, think a service man fixed it, but now it is just running so, so slow, uploading/downloading is a nightmare, can't even watch YouTube,  has anybody had similar issues? Was wondering if there weren't some things I could do to my computer or modem or internet settings, etc. Here is my connection speed from my internet service:
