| I'm not a big fan of J-Rock, but I do like a few songs by L'Arc en Ciel, and I'm big fans of Shiina Ringo, Nanase Aikawa, and Do As Infinity. |

You guys know that JPop refers to ALL modern japanese music, even rock, right?
Anyways, I like
L'Arc~en~Ciel (they have plenty of "rock" songs...you just don't hear them as much)
GLAY (of course)
X Japan
LUNA SEA
HYDE
Gackt (pre "LOVE LETTER", etc.)
Malice Mizer (haven't listened to them in a while)
PIERROT
Shiina Ringo
Yaida Hitomi
TETSU69
the pillows
miyavi (I like his indies stuff better)
alice nine
Spitz (folk rock)
yuzu (folk rock)
The Yellow Monkey
the brilliant green
Psycho le Cemu
ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION
Janne Da Arc
Moi dix Mois (they're okay)
OLIVIA
B'z
Do As Infinity
(Would you guys consider LOVE PSYCHEDELICO rock? They sorta sound like some of those 70s rock bands, but I'm not sure if they would be "pop" to most people.)
And, yeah, I think Ai has a lot of rock songs. There've been a couple of people who've confused her for "JRock" and that's pretty cool. |

*pops in*
I'm the same as you >< I know of alot of JRock bands such as Dir en Grey, Gackt, Mois dix Moi, etc. but have never really listened to their music.
I'm mainly only so far a fan of L'Arc en Ciel, Malice Mizer, Seotaji, and Asian Kung-Fu Generation ^^:: |

| yay for plastic Tree! Some people think their music is bland but i think it's very meloncholy. Which makes it very good. Can't wait for their new Album. Does anyone know any Plastic Tree fansites that have up to date information? I use to go to harusaki.org something like that but i think they had to go down. |
