This isn't anything much...just something that assigns a monetary value to a website I think according to it's popularity, traffic etc....anyway check it out
http://www.yourwebsitevalue.com/details/channel-ai_com.html
According to that, Channel-Ai is worth $13,474!! I say it's basically priceless considering that we have the best community out there (mainly cos it has me in it ) but yeah, what do you guys think? Quite acceptable? Maybe Eyn can sell Channel-Ai and retire |

Oh wow <3 That's quite a bit! That's very interesting. I bet if I had a site it wouldn't be worth even half of this site Probably much less |

@sljinu: You're forgetting someone else who is worth it in this community. Jokes! We're all very worth it!
I'm going to test my MySpace. |

i think this theoretical value for the site is simply based on the web traffic the site generates, and how that may be able to be taken advantage of to support advertising.
but if advertising (popups, banner ads, etc) were on the site, then i think the number of people visiting here would go down, decreasing its value.
another way of looking at this is that eyn is foregoing money he could make from advertising, by keeping Channel-Ai ad-free. which is something we can all enjoy and appreciate every time we visit. |

| ^ Oh yeah, that sounds correct. Oh, and I 100% agree with you about appreciating the fact that Eyn doesn't advertise. It's just another part of what makes this forum awesome...ad's cheapen the overall image of sites like these. Eyn, you rock! |

Oh wow I never really thought about ads & popups and how this site doesn't have any I mean, I guess I never noticed It's always just been "Channel-ai" where as other sites for me is like okay they'll be offering me a free nano ipod then there's the videos on the right and the ever annoying voice from the smily saying 'HELLO!!" I guess I never appreciated how this site is ad-free. But I am very thankful <3 Your so smart pon pon I'm always seeing things in a new light when I read one of your posts or learning, whether it's about japanese puppet theatre, or to your attention to detail with the contact lens in the Ponds Cm. I need to start thinking outside the box |

Haha, for me Channel-ai is priceless, you just can't get the experience of sharing things with other Ai fans anywhere else. (Only now do i notice that Channel-Ai is ad-free , credit to Eyn for making this happen) |
