What's the context? Or is it just that word, randomly by itself?

"Babashi" doesn't exactly mean anything, I think. But seeing how Ai included her manager, Kobayashi, in both the Ai am BEST Tour live and PV, I think it has to do with him.

Baka + Kobayashi = Babashi?

Most likely, the "ya" was dropped out to allow the tune to flow fluidly. Giggle

^ A game!? Embarassed You might be correct, remblue. All Google brings up about babashi is the PV. Sneeze This needs further investigation. Though, I do remember seeing a drawing of Ai's (from each of her Music Station Lives), and she drew a picture of a mouse with cheese. Could that be it?

the reason it's interpreted as "bullshit" is that "baba" means shit or bullshit (written in hiragana). baba also means grandmother or old woman (祖母) and also... horse-riding ground (馬場), haha.

as for the shi... dunno. could be 氏, which would make the title "Mr. Bullshit" in english. Laughing somehow... i doubt it, though. but you never know.
it could also be 詩, which means poem or verse of poetry. so.. basicly a poem that's just a bunch of crap.
but i don't think it means any of those anyway... i guess we won't know unless we hear something about if from Ai-chin herself.

Thanks for the info mangomalte Ai is so mysterious with her song titles. I was thinking about Chu-Lip and Frienger, she has her own way of putting things. And until she explains things or the lyrics are released we can only speculate. Laughing With Babashi that's the only thing being said. So can't turn to the lyrics for that. I remember when Kimi ni Kaeru came out people were first translating it to something about a frog Confused
