would it be possible to make links open in a new window when they are clicked? so I don't get taken away from the forum  |

Well, the default phpBB open all links in new windows using "target" html attribute, but since this forum skin uses XHTML strict as doc type, the site won't validate when "target" attribute is used, thus I removed them all. lol, a little too much on the technical details, but you get the idea!
If you're a Firefox or Opera user, you can always open external links in tabs. The "target" attribute is deprecated in XHTML, so eventually all websites will have this attribute removed. I think it's getting more popular nowadays for user to decide whether they want a link to open in new tabs (or "windows" if you're using IE6 or below ) instead of forcing them to open in new windows, remember how those annoying advertisement popup works?  |

poor IE is so hated I just have never gotten around to changing browsers on this computer. |

Oh, so that is why. I was about to create a new topic about this eyn but good thing I searched through this board first right. I always get frustrated when i click a link and it opens in the same window since sometimes I end up browsing away from channel ai when I only wish to view the reference site and come back. Just my opinion, IMO. |
